I love this competition for second best putt and approach. It’s good to know which disc is sitting just below the Harp on the podium.

Love the brand vs brand content. I think it would be great to have the pig throwers throw zones, and the zone throwers throw pigs. Then they could truly test their opinions.
I throw zones and would be down... only downside, there'd be that many more people buying zones lol

@@chrisblair3081 I’ve never thrown a pig. By my own logic, I should have by now. The only problem is, what if I like it? I can barely afford backups for my current bag. Not trying to chase too many dragons right now.

Discraft needs to make a more over stable version of the Zone with less glide, less turn and a bit shallower (4,2,1,3-4). They could call it the OZone.

Innova did it instead and called it a Toro
@@Universal-Jack looking at its side profile it looks like an old Hyzerbomb Mortar, likely the same mold since Innova made them and Jerm/Sexton used to swear by them. I didn't know about them, but I'll have to grab one and see because the newer Mortars are less overstable and aren't flat either. Wish they had it in Gstar though, that plastic is made for approaches since it's so rubbery it loses speed when it touches the ground.
@@jackl4laughs they are pretty puddle top from my experience. Ive had them in Champion and Star. Champion obviously being the more overstable.

I wish I would have known that y'all were at Hobbs. I love both channels, and have learned so much about the game from watching y'all. I would have loved to be able to come out and say thank you.
The zone comes in way more plastics, so that alone gives it the edge.
But just IMAGINE if innova would give us champion pigs!! Longer life, big skip different uses. I want to give innova my money for champion PIGS but they just won't take it.

Yeah a small batch, maybe 100-300 came out and now nothing, gone very,very fast. zones are found on other planets in premium plastic, second hand champ pigs go for price of blood from online scalpers. Trust me bro zone throwers are blessed and spoiled by a company that pays attention to them.

I like both of those discs but the Harp is where it is at for over stable approach putter

I've been throwing pigs since 08, my pro pig from then is very understable. I've never tried a zone yet. Also I grew up on a hog farm and I love that shirt.

IMO the Neo Tactic from the Black Friday Mystery Box is better than both…but I’ve only thrown each a handful of times. Kinda new to these newer molds and manufacturers…I miss my Cyclones and Cyclone 2’s and my Polaris LS and LF…lol.

The only thing the zone is better at or has more of is a Big Skip probability.
The zone also has way more runs of.

Awesome to see y’all play Hobbs Farm. Such an amazing course. It’s my favorite course I have ever played. With three tees on all but the shortest holes and two fixed baskets on every hole, it’s incredibly accessible for less experienced players and challenging for advanced players. Real par 5s. Lots of risk/reward. Just a phenomenal design by John Houck.
Hey swanky I think you should also try going to the gym, and I dont mean it as an insult at all! You could have a really good build, I started and its crazy the happiness level goes up especially with adding disc golf to your life.

The Zone is better than the Pig. That said, they're really not the same disc and don't have the same purposes. There is some overlap in their use, but they're just not the same.
Why you say one is better? then say they are different (pretty much not comparable) zone in z plastic is more beef than pig mainly do to r-pro being a more neutral plastic. If innova would give us champ plastic it would be a better comparison to the age old question lol.
By the way learn your angle control and you'll see PIG IS LIFE!!

I have both I like to forehand the zone more and also I use the zone for more overstable shots. But the pig has a more reliable line in the air

I still use my Harp.
I've never thrown a zone but I got a pig for Christmas today and it's the first putter I've thrown that doesn't flex on a full power forehand. Even my tactic gets understable but the pig is perfect
I don't think that is what flex means.

Yeah lots of young kids are easily imprinted on by social media throw zones. Then you learn angle control and don't need mids because the PIG is so great, you just bag more PIGS lol.

Pig vs Zone....Entropy wins every time, haha! I even like the Gateway Devil Hawk more than the pig too, for those who want to try something a bit different.
Every disc you mentioned Flys way different. The pig is the most sensitive to angle control with that said it will go the furthest or get you in most trouble. Devil H. is just beef cake with no range, Entropy is pretty much Zone OS and Z Zone is a Little more beef than pig but that's only because plastic. Jawbreaker zone pretty much Flys just same as pig.
I love the Pig but it just isn't anything special. Now the Zone, that's a great disc. I've also had some awful pop top Pigs that would turn and burn. Discraft has way better quality control than Innova.

i got a domey and firm nexus pig that's crazy overstable, and a buttery feeling esp zone that's medium overstable. I love them both, but haven't shot them enough to have a favorite.
Been absolutely BINGING the heck out of buying discs these past few months and just waiting for the cold weather to let up so i can see how they fly in some nice weather
