As for the confession, I personally didn't take it seriously because it was during one of Mako's "Hallelujah moments" and going out on a date isn't always meant to be romantic in japan. As a Japanese, I can confirm this. I always watch anime with English dubs for the sake of learning, and I think KLK's dubbing work is the best of the best, without single competition. All the VA casts fit like socks, and the lines are sometimes translated much better than the original version.
@@Arumia13 it's not because it would'nt make sense, it would just go against what the ova wanted to express that the story is over and ryuko moved on, it would be pretty dumb to try to revive or substitute sangetsu but i guess they might try to make it happen without kamuis, but just going "haha this is the super mega hyper vilain which is stronger than the previous one" would be kind of really bad.

As a Japanese, I can confirm this. I always watch anime with English dubs for the sake of learning, and I think KLK's dubbing work is the best of the best, without single competition. All the VA casts fit like socks, and the lines are sometimes translated much better than the original version.

@@Arumia13 it's not because it would'nt make sense, it would just go against what the ova wanted to express that the story is over and ryuko moved on, it would be pretty dumb to try to revive or substitute sangetsu but i guess they might try to make it happen without kamuis, but just going "haha this is the super mega hyper vilain which is stronger than the previous one" would be kind of really bad.
