  • It’s our first day and we are on the way to Porta Garibaldi - an historic Baroque-style arch built in 1768 to celebrate the marriage between a king and a princess. But first, we stop at a grocery to buy things for lunch, and view a tattoo parlor - but Billy declines getting one. Look below for links to related stories.

Hi @rn3074 - No, we flew from Bari to Palermo, trained to Cefalu then trained to Catania. We had plans to fly from Catania to Paris after that. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Hello, @dojocho1894 Have you been to Italy, Sicily or Coatia? I wouldn't know how to advise you in this area - Palermo is a very large city with a long history. Catania is Sicily's 2nd largest city. I would recommend that you visit both places and decide which fits you better. Both have much to offer. You might take a look at this pictorial of ours retireearlylifestyle.com/aaa-a/palermo-city.htm We have not yet been to Croatia.
