I teach young children with disabilities. This is basically the same technique I use with them. I find that if I show that "mindful regard" around them, they will open up and connect with me. It's within that relationship that they can make amazing progress. Thank you so much for what you're doing James.
I LOVE this! And THIS is what I do with my rescues but people are ALWAYS trying to force me into working FASTER FASTER FASTER....I can't stand it. People ALWAYS have an "agenda" and "expectation" of horses...instead of just letting them be them. They say I'm not good with horses because I do not rush. These people are just aweful. Thank you for doing this and sharing this. I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who practices this. If you see my channel you will see me lay down with all of my 8 rescues :) Keep up the GREAT work!
This is beautiful. Animals think and feel and are so capable of love. We need to love them and respect them. We need to transmit that loving energy to them. Thank you James. 🙏🏼
So true... "The problem is people..." Once we discover that we can have a peaceful and positive effect on animals, because of our love for them, we realize that we can experience that same peace within ourselves. What an amazing breakthrough this work must be for so many people. l just love the communication that you had with the Lion, so powerful that it stayed with you even after the encounter, like you were with him telepathically.... Have you read "Mystery of The White Lions" by Linda Tucker? Sending lots of love from South Africa! Thank you for doing this work James!
I'm just starting to listen to these ideas and I have to say - (and this is before I came across your work), just in the past few weeks, I've noticed that when I approach my sweet dog, Shadow (aka Mr. Brown), in the morning, when I'm just waking up, and I go to his bed (a couch), and he's there, and I hear the birds outside the window, and I realize how loud my thinking has been in my head, when he's just been taking in the present moment, listening to the morning sounds the way I used to when I was a little girl, that stops me in my tracks, it quiets me right down and I'm present and quiet in my mind. And I connect with him in such a deep way. I love it. And I think this is something like what your work is, and I can't wait to learn more.

The quiet peaceful presence is a condition. Then, thoughts are perceived because a real connection is established. When I had a cat, the little creature had the right to sleep on the bed near my feet. And ... How often I woke up with the cat on my head or with his head near my neck, I can' t tell it. ☺️😊

Can you tell me if in motion; to help keep peace with the [dog] calm/peacful for heavy equipment vehicles. Like , this confuses me so much. I can see when sitting and staying still. But once walking, how to keep that calmness? Thanks.
