    How big is your every day backpack?

      My everyday bag is a Peak Design 13L Everyday Messenger. My load out is typically a Fujifilm X-T4 with 3 lenses and a12.9" iPad Pro or 14" M1 Pro MBP (rarely carry both).
      When traveling or doing larger projects, I use a Think Tank Roller Derby case to carry more camera, lenses and accessories. Once you get older you'll realize the need to lighten what you carry to save your knees or back from pain and injury.

    Out of all the Nomatic Peter McKinnon review videos I've seen which have been a lot. Yours is the first one to demonstrate how to use the straps for holding a tripod. I have this 25L bag too. I bought a large cube but ended up not using it. I took the dividers out and configured all my gear inside the bag using the dividers. Wasted money buying the large cube smh.

      I feel the pain of those cubes haha.

    Oh man thanks for a long term review! Really makes a difference to hear about something like this after spending time with it 👍
    Oh! Also, I’ve sometimes gotten colored zipper pulls to help differentiate compartments and stuff could be good for the laptop compartment.

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yooo! Didn’t realize they make those! Although I still blindly reach for my zippers. Will definitely look for that!

    I love the flexibility of this bag. I also use the peak design tech pouch with it, so storing accessories is super easy. I like the flexibility of camera cubes and the ladder system. To me this bag is a joy to use

      I naturally gravitate towards this bag more than I thought. Feels good to carry.

    I like the cube system because I can have one setup for my camera and my other cube for drone. Helps to keep things organized in general when swapping out gear or between the two.

      It's surprisingly pretty snug too against the bag without any clips to hold it in place.

    Nice 3 month review! If transformers were made with fabrics, they would be camera bags :D

      The modularity of them is so convenient. Love it.

    Need to get this one Mike, I'm destroying all my PD ones with all the travels haha

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว

      As I wrap up my trip here in the Philippines, I’m glad I didn’t bring my PD Travel bag with me. I checked in my PD tripod, but my entire trip I used my PGYtech mantispod and a7siii with 24-105 f/4. I brought my gimbal but didnt get a chance to use it, esp since i couldnt use it where i wanted. Drone, didnt bring it.
      Definitely not the biggest bag for travel but definitely got the job done for me without much struggle.

    Nice review! but I think that the Wandrd Prvke 21l or 31l it's a better and more functional backpack

      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was looking into that as well. Still kind of curious, especially since their updated version of the bag.

    Needs a quick access pocket or two on the outside of the bag. Also, for $300, they should throw in a couple accessory straps.

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว

      For the kickstarter campaign, I did get one, but I was disappointed to see that they didn't include it with the regular sale of it.

    • @cre8tivity06

      i agree on the straps! I think they did when they were doing the kickstarter for the larger 35L bag.

    Price is the biggest factor... i would go for the lowe pro protatic 450 anytime of the day..

    Do you prefer the pd everyday bag or the Nomatic peter mc ? , I’m looking for an everyday bag , and us it as well for work, travel and include by electric board parts ? , which would you recommended ?

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re going to pack electric board parts? You could very well do that depending how you pack it. This bag is an easy recommend for an every day bag. Lots of cushion on your back and on the straps.

      @moazhmi ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikeBSalazar you seem shocked!! 😂😂 as in wheels, trunks, battery . I’m torn as I just found a slightly used pd everyday 20l and the Peter bag - nomatic doesn’t ship so whatever I find online has a mark up of 30% on price tag 🤪

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah ok. Idk why I was thinking of like PC parts like a motherboard. I like PD because of their pockets and all. If you dont' mind their side access, PD's every day is a good choice. I especiallly like it in black.

    i use a camera bag from caden and dang it is small for my setup
    if i intend to carry my rode mic, eos r with my two lenses and a second camera body, its full, any extra light or batteris tripod or gimbals, have to go in a suitcase

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the kind of stuff you shoot it looks like a suitcase like a pelican-style case will be easier for your back my friend. Not unless you’re running and gunning or traveling.
      But yeah man gear adds fast. Before you know it you’ll have a bag for your stands and a whole new pick up truck to carry them all 😅

    I got a bag, but it didn't come with the tripod secure strap am I missing something?

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh. Apparently it only comes with the waist straps. They sell the tripod straps for $19.99 for set of two.

    Magnetic type snaps aren't to be trusted! Zippers sustain shock WAY better than magnets.

    • @MikeBSalazar
      @MikeBSalazar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh I can agree with that. And if their zippers fail these companies should replace them anyway with their lifetime guarantees.
