Little detail I discovered myself a few days ago, you don't need to survive when doing The survivalist path, Tough guy(kill 4 scavs woods no meds). If you do the task then die, it is still completed, provided you didnt use any meds. Raid needs to be completed, not survived, for the task to be done.
I just want to say thank you for making this second season. I bought the game just before the last wipe. I stopped playing because it was Frustrating and I felt like I was getting no where. After the wipe I decided to start playing again but immediately felt the same frustration. Then I started watching your videos and seen that it wasn’t just me . It got me back into the game and now I am finally making good progress and loving the game. Thank you .
for the Gzhel quest I bought two at 0% condition, insured them so that there's a higher chance that anyone who finds them won't take them. Did it at night in 2 raids and it went pretty smooth even with a fair bit of shooting going on.
i killed a guy right next to the stage who had 2 gzhels and the comtacs and ratniks and i just used his stuff to do the quest (lucky? yes. monster? maybe).

That was actually a genius play because squad comms can get so chaotic and people don't want to risk shooting their teammate. I can only imagine there was a flurry of "wait is that you? @35:13, not sure if I understood right, but you can split stacks by pressing the "ctrl" key click and drag your stack to another position on the inven and a little GUI will come up and let you split the stack
They have been roaming a lot lately. I wasted 2 nades on scavs yesterday because they were in a weird place making bush noises and I thought they are players.
I know when I did some of the scav kill quests on shoreline this wipe, it took me 6-7 raids to get the kills I needed because everything was cleared out. Super annoying after the 5 or so raid and you've only gotten a few kills.
I just caught up with all the raid series, it kinda sucks I’m a noob and still need to do quests in customs and that is the only map I know aside from factory and a little bit of woods. You do an awesome job explaining things and make it easier to play the game. I’ll be following you on twitch as well since I’m now caught up. Thank you for the great content.
want to point out something, about the milk selling for a bit on the flea, its because the jaeger mission where you need to kill scavs while on stimulus effects, the milk effect, that gives you health or something for 300 seconds, counts towards that quest.
Would love to see so duo gameplay, maybe explaining some call outs and how to play with a friend. Some people have a tough time playing with friends properly. Love the series man. Just something to consider for a episode er two

The monocle is definitely the better NV. Though you can see less overall, what you can see is far more clear and people in the distance are much easier to make out.
Hey Pest! Love this series its vitally helpful for figuring out some aspects of this game. Especially your combat strategies. I'd love to see a future series where you play through the game like normal, then go back and reflect on how you would perform different actions differently and stuff. If you are aiming at someone your arms are in front of your chest so the rounds will hit your arms and not penetrate into the chest. I’m guessing that’s what happened on the interchange raid.
Could we overlay the end-game EXP/damage info screens after the raid or something? I really like the map summary graphic but it's a shame that it blocks seeing exp gain and so on. Thanks Frankie!
Here is a concept I have been thinking about. If you damage someone enough and they die later in the raid due to your wounds. You get the kill and Prapor will give you that players dog tags if they don't get looted by another player before the raid ends?
could you tell me what happens if you get a run through with a scav? i see that pestily is always waiting for 10 minutes even with the scav. does he lose the loot?
Pestily you'd have so much more cash if you disassembled weapons first. It's marginal for an individual gun but really adds up over time. Also that scope on the VPO sells for a fair bit on the flea I think. Cheers :D
Not anymore. Skier pays less for everything than Mechanic does. Bolt action and shotguns go for more to Jaeger. The days of having to disassemble firearms before selling them are over.
I found this as a mild inconvenience. Once I've discovered my ability to see through chaos and instantly detect these rounds Pestily's looking for, or to see EVERY golden chainlet, scattered across the Scav Box. Hence I love his chaos. Somehow it became more clear and ordered for me. So... to hell with your OCD! )
@Pestily can you do an updated settings video or add it into a raid video as I’m completely new to pc gaming and Tarkov cheers loving the raid series made me get a computer and Tarkov haha
@@BillyElliot1998 Slight correction, extract or death. After 4 kills you can die and complete it. But yes, no meds the entire raid, not before nor after killing the 4 scavs.
Anybody else having the game read you have stashed 3 gold chains for chumming when you only did 2? It says so on my task bar, i have the interchange one done, ill test on the other ones too or its known glitch?
yoooo I was in woods yesterday trying to do chumming and the wiki says the wrong spot, so I figured maybe I need to reconnect since I didn't know better the same menu pops up whether your game crashed or you just hit escape and both say "you have a small amount of time to reconnect" so I hit confirm bahaha killed my guy on the spot
@@waxmanbrit yea that's just how it is, everyone who uses NVG and a greenscreen has issues. thats why i said it looked like aqua's channel because of how often it happens to him, as he sits very close to his monitor.
@@viikmaqic Movement is mostly fine, although there should be a greater penalty to full auto recoil control when moving, dependent on the speed. As for strafing, add a delay when making sudden changes in the opposite direction, ie inertia. If someone is full speed strafing one direction, and changes direction, they need to stop moving and re-accelerate, instead of almost instantly switching the direction like they are a butt naked olympic sprinter. Rising Storm 2 is a good example of properly implemented inertia when strafing.

For that quest i put one helmet and one gzhel down and it counted as 2 for either, idk if it was a bug or a little secret but it made it real easy lol
@@pineapplespank7640 its a known bug, you only need to put down one of each. Its actually just the quest text that needs to be changed.

Shoreline needs 4 to 5 times more scavs; especially roaming ones. The map is damn near empty.

For night time raids with the green u could always just turn off the camera if u don’t want to be transparent
