happened to me ...the exact same thing today...was trying for "The Guide"....night time customs raid...killa armor, fast mt (no visor, had nods) was on my way out, decided to stop at the barrel cache (the one in the pit between the two warehouses). I see a scav with a TOZ, I double tap him with my kitted out M1A loaded with m61's...he one taps me in the eyes/jaw. Night time, pitch black, scav had no flashlight.
Those gunsmith wiki-pages are nice and all, but so many use them that the attachements usually cost way more. So often it is best to just buy the parts you need to have, put them on, calculate the difference that you need from the rest of the parts and then just figure out the cheapest option. I've saved a ton of money doing it like that.
Duuuude watching pestily get 1 tapped by buckshot sucks but it makes me feel so much better about my own games lol. They get me with buckshot soo much now!

I've been wondering recently if I should just not run armor because it seems like a lot of ppl shoot rounds that pen level 4 anyway and since I suck I can't afford level 5, and I couldn't afford level 4 if I actually pursued PvP (and died often).
Being able to craft certain things is fun. I went the whole first wipe without it. However, I like spending money on the hideout and working towards something other than buying keys and just getting more money.
I found three intel folders in a single offline raid. Never thought I would be saying this, but it might be time to pistol run and rush a loot spawn on customs.
wiki is NOT the cheapest, it recommends a hybrid silencer in a lot of the quests and you can save some money by doing your own build with a weapon-specific silencer instead.
This video is a perfect example as to why you should definitely use the "preset" function when doing the gunsmith quests. Using the Wiki is great, but also use the edit preset option as well. Pest my man you went full testing by purchasing and that resulted in wasting money.

At this point is it okay to use better kits? Nothing crazy. But I really struggle with budget kits. Find myself having more success risking a little bit more to have full auto and a little more armor. Thoughts?
Not hating or anything but when Pestily is modding the m4 for the task, you can clearly see that he doesn't mod his guns. I love the modding and I love making very modded guns.
man, i would kill to have a quiet factory run like that. i've all but given up on playing/progressing because i can't get delivery done. every time i load into factory i get mobbed by PMC's like i have a beacon on my head
On the Healing Page, pretty much on the top center part of it are listed all the damages you have, separately. For example it says, Bloodlessx2, Broken armsx1, Healthx 167points, etc. Each one of them has a tick box. You just untick whatever you don't want to be healed (it is preselected already), then hit Heal All (whatever is ticked) on the bottom of the screen and you are done

the problem with lvl3/4 armor is that high grade ammunition is so easy to come accross that makes everything under 5 very lackluster

That AACPC that he one-tapped you through is level 5 armor. from 52 durability. It's like a 7% chance to pen, and he penned it.
He wasn't wearing an AACP he was wearing an A18 which is class 4 and it had 66 durability. AP-20 goes through that like butter.

Unfortunately that has been my experience in factory lately. Trying to get some quests done, rushing to the office area and only fighting scavs.

Why is his stuff found in raid even tough it was placed in the alpha container? Or do you have to survive the have the marker ?
As long as you survive, everything on you is found in raid as long as it spawned there.

Yann Calmels no probs. It used to be, if you died but put stuff in the container it was still found in raid, meaning quests were easier.
