    Motoblade, again you explain a process of doing a project mod on the motorcycle very easy. Your method was simple and completely understood! Thanks for not complicating it with any "fru-fru" words or actions. If I need a process explained, I know I'll be looking to you for the best help I can find to get a problem solved!👍🤓🏍️😁 Doug

    Great, easy instructions. It seems that they should ask $25 more for the bike new and include at least the 12 volt charger plug-in and relay from the factory since 99% of riders install it after the purchase.
    The bike is already set up for these items. Oh well. I guess these little jobs help us to learn about our bikes more. Thanks for the walk through.

      You're very welcome! Glad it was helpful. I agree - this basic stuff should just be standard on bikes now.

    Do the 2024 Kawasaki Vulcan S ABS model still need this electronic relay or have they already built it in?

    Hi. Do you have a link so I can buy that exact led flasher module online?

    Do you have any video showing where the ending terminals for the acessories are?

    You didnt explain what the relay does or any switches that you use on dash etc.

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@davidcarvolth7685 the relay is a required piece of equipment if you intend to install the 12-volt plug-in accessory or you want to install the gear position indicator (older versions of the Vulcan S don’t have it built into the dash, it was an add-on option).

    Great Video. This might be a little off topic, but what exactly does the Relay do? I googled this question relative to the Vulcan S and did not get an answer. I want to add this power adapter and eventually an upgraded tail light that allows one to delete the stock plastic fender extender and the rear turn signals.
    When reading about that modification, it noted a relay was needed so the new integrated turn signal will flash at the correct speed. Will this one relay serve both modifications? I know zero about electrical, so any information would be appreciated.

      The relay should put power to other circuits only when ignition is on, rather than a straight draw from battery that would otherwise always be on. For new tail lights, if you are going with LEDs, you need to replace the flasher relay with one that functions for LEDs. LEDs are lower wattage so existing flasher relay does not work properly - you will get "hyper flash" if you use LED signals and stock flasher relay.

    1:20 bolt is 10mm (not 11) -- at least in my 2017 Vulcan S. Thanks for the walkthrough!

    Where did you get the relay? Where do connect the 12v plug? Thanks for the video and sharing.

      @MOTOBLADE  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nathanael García Muro to connect the 12 volt plug, watch the video I did on that installation. I show you how to do that in a separate video. I ordered the relay online from kawasaki.

    Seems like a waste of time and money. . It serves no purpose. I've never had to add a relay to install a usb charger just a fuse even to add lights

    • @MOTOBLADE
      @MOTOBLADE  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      sid sid The relay is required by kawasaki if you're going to install the gear indicator. That's it's main purpose. As far as time and money, it's like 10 bucks and took maybe 5 minutes to install. Not a waste at all.
