pretty much to make it so they had to use a search to find the evolution because if they attach an energy it would be delt the other 20 damage and KO it. so it in theory would make it so they have to give up one search to find the evolution when they wouldnt really want to, and since it had no energy they may need to use another to find the energy leading to both searches being used in a not so great way. plus there wasnt really anything i could add it to that would have ended up mattering anyway

@@professorgnome typing is all weird in the TCG. It took me some adjustment time to stop thinking in terms of dual types, static super effective or weak table, and more types (bug etc).
@@MysticIsle I don't like a lot of the pokemon card game weaknesses, like timeliness they should be used to buff wearker types. Like fighting types are no where to be seen, so if dark types are getting more support. They should just make them weak to fighting to help buff the type
Applin is a fun deck to play and I have one a lot of games with it. It gives you an awesome amount of draw power. I try to have at least three of them down so that I can draw any three cards that I want during each turn most of the time setting me up for a knock out on each.
49:20. Cannot believe they did not boss. I have two pal pads just so I can have access for up to three boss. They should’ve won this game on that hand. They totally screwed up which worked in your favor. This should have been an easy win for them. And once again, you always run a vacuum and sometimes you want to run two. Running two vacuums have one made the game several times. They should’ve easily won that game. They also use the wrong aspect. You should always run a max belt with this deck. With a Roseann’s back up to use it to get it back when knocked out. Which is the reason I runto pal pads. I have even been considering running three. I’ve had a few times were three would have come in clutch.

Can you tell me the reason for having 4 Gengars (3x EX and 1x TEF) but only 2 rare candies and 1 Haunter ... doesn't this mean you'll *never* have all 4 Gengar in play?
you cant but you normally never want 4 on the board at one time since there is other stuff you want to take up that space. its more about just being able to find you gengars a bit easier

The Dark type veing weak to grass is becausr Dark types are weak to bug in game. Gengar being weak to fight type is because poison is weak to ground type and gengar lost levitate if i remeber
fair, point didnt really think of grass also counting as bug haha but I still stand by that all dark pokemon should be weak to fighting since fighting types need some love they have been bad for to long haha

Nice! I've seen some MothLass builds use a jamming tower too, so not only does oppo get item locked but they lose Evo as well, and any pesky belts or charms
@@JoshuaFitch-iu3bd 😁 i tested jamming tower for a bit but ended up swapping it for calamitous wasteland to trap the active from retreating while trying to hammer the energy away and item lock. Jamming tower would also be good against garde match up too! Good point on the charms, cape, might bring it back and reduce my double devos

I think Dark is supposed to be weak to Grass due to the bug type in the game being super effective, still doesn't make much sense though

Dark Gengar in TCG as a Poison Type, and its weakness is Ground. Ground is Fighting Type in TCG.

It could be cut for sure, i just like it as a late game closer but it doesnt always come up

@@Puffzilla777 ya that's something I used to run, took it out because it never came up. Lol I have been thinking of putting it back in. Gangar is weird where I feel like I change the list like once a week.
Mimikyu could be a good sub? I think it’s 1 energy to do damage equal to all damage counters to active if I remember correctly. Love gengar tho
