Hi. I gotta ask, it looks like the monitor your have in portrait mode on the desk is an HP 27fw. Can you tell me what you used to mount it that way round? There's no vesa mounts or anything on that monitor because it's so thin. Can you tell me what you used/bought?

Po ustawieniu 4k na "donglu", nie ma opcji ustawienia 4k w Windowsie, bez różnicy czy ustawię rozszerzenie ekranu czy tylko ekran z dongla czy kopię głównego, mam wrażenie że te dobre opinie o tym urządzeniu są albo kupione albo na prawdę ludzie nie myślą i kupują "4k" i myślą że jest magiczne 4k bo tak jest na pudełku... Takie oszustwo powinno być zgłoszone do UOKIK :)
hi there, please help me with quick question, if i connect this to a laptop then cast to another laptop, would it actually shows that you are mirroring your screen? ( you know with windows screen mirror you have a bar at the top saying you are screen mirroring )
This would not stream from one laptop to another. It allows you to stream to a device with HDMI input (an input is not typically on laptops, which only have outputs)
The use I'm looking for is travel. Something I can connect my phone or iPad to and cast downloaded content.

The transmitter and receiver pair directly. There is no need for Wi-Fi or cellular data.

You can get a Vesa mount adapter for it. A search on Amazon for that should bring up what basically looks like a metal plate that can be used.

How is video transmitted, wireless USB? Do you need wifi for this? I need to transmit from my phone to tv without wifi.
The Screencast shows up as a device for you to cast your screen to. If you have the media on your phone, you don't need to have WiFi.

I don't know about that particular app, but this will mirror whatever is on the screen, so yes, it should work.
Did u get it to work in 4k? I bougut 4 and cant set 4k...

I just recently bought it and it's giving me tons of problems. It's slow to connect, the internet doesn't work, etc. I paid $85 for it.

No, this is basically an HDMI cable, just wireless. If you cannot plug in an HDMI cable, it's not going to work.
You did not show the actual setting up of the hardware.
You just connect the HDMI and power. The transmitter and receiver pair automatically.
