This fr one of my favorite battles to come back to mad talent, mad love, mad respect, no ego no BS just two styles, two personalities, two energies coming together on the dance floor these are the vibrations that change the world 🙏🏼✨💚
The last time I saw ejoe was at the Red Zone 1991 wearing the big platforms and and his boys were doing a circle under the strobe light. Same style. This poem...
Ejoe used to run with a bunch of dudes, Caleaf, Voo Doo Ray; two other catz, I don't know their names; one used to rock a cowboy hat all the time and the other dude was brown skinned with coke bottle glasses...used to clean the floors up at Wild Pitch - Majorie would keep the floors shining bright like constellations...RESPECT TO ALL keeping the floor game epic and legendary. Yeah!
i used to see ejoe back in the day at the red zone in NYC..with David Morales and Satoshie Tomiie..he used to dance in the circles with alot of others....he was the best i had seen ..especially when he spins.. good to see him here still dancing brilliantly 25 years later..btw really liked hearing acid crash by tyree. #takesmeback
Hiro is just on a level that other people cannot content with. It was apparent from the first time I saw him in a video. Even dancing in choreographed showcases with about 9 dancers all tightly knit and on the same page...he stands out. I want to be able to learn how dance even just a little bit like him. Nothing would make me happier. Where do I begin?
TRACK LIST FOR EVERYBODY WONDERING! Karizma - Tech This Out Pt. 2 Liquid Dope - Krash Attias - Hanami Boddhi Satva - Who Am I Feat. Athenai & C.Robert Walker
legendary battle , i just LOVE how these 2 always groove so good with the music , protect them at all cost ! such an insane vibe that catches u watching them dance
Actually after watching it a million times I have come to the conclusion that the win belonged to hero. And at the end people got confused while shouting for hero....

David Ramos what does race have to do with anything? Ejoe is a legend in the game since back in the day, and he gave props to Hiro. do some research before you start reducing everything to race.
I guess I'm in the negatives here but hiro is a straight up biter. He uses all the moves he has learned from his teachers and is not smooth. Ejoe is an innovator, he is smooth and he has soul. Hiro has none. He just throws a bunch of crazy foot moves and other peoples moves. Pls.
Well imo he just has a really different style. By your comparison you would say that Brooklyn Terry, Yugson Hawks and other dancers had absolutely zero soul and smoothness so I can't really get along with your opinion completely.
mhmm this is why the house community has gone deeper underground than it has before. Comments like this are ignorant and have no idea how difficult it is to “innovate” a variation in house dance. Not everyone can be an innovator. Dance is not solely about being an innovator. Dance is about expression and sharing - not everyone needs to share something unique - some people have similar expressions and ideas and that’s perfectly fine. That’s what makes unique…well unique and makes certain steps feel familiar. If everyone was unique then nothing would be special. Learn to do a few house steps and add your own variation than come back and pay respect to the greats. Hiro is an amazing house dancer. That is why Ejoe respects Hiro even if Ejoe is his teacher.
Who still watchin this great battle in 24 💯
🤣🤘

two completely different approaches to the music! so characteristic of each individual style and personality. What an inspiration!

Hiro got robbed !
Ejoe is a legend but was a little worn for wear. His moves contain quite a bit of lazy filler and didn't really match up to Hiro in this battle.
Hiro was robbed
oh hell naw! eggs have no business dancin with stones..
