    I wonder if they are the same size as a e46 control arm…

    That is pretty good lock tbf lol I started with WOL arms and knuckles, now run Wisefab. But that looks like a good setup for the price. Another good video man keep them coming :)

    Do you think 40mm is good enough?

    • @MaxFuller
      @MaxFuller  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Anything is better than stock, but most people do minimum 50mm

    Did you end up having to run the spacers? How do you rate the driving/drifting ability?

    • @MaxFuller
      @MaxFuller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it was ok without the wheel spacers in the end, I run 8j wheels, road driving is pretty bad haha but it worked really well on the track, I will be swapping the adaptors out for some welded knuckles in the next week or so though haha the adaptors just have a bit of play on the tie rods and don’t feel very safe on the road

    How would i accomplish the same thing on an E46?

    • @MaxFuller
      @MaxFuller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do exactly the same in e46, you can fit e36 extended control arms, you just need to buy adaptor bushes for the lolypops 👌🏼

  • @burberrybry
    @burberrybry ปีที่แล้ว

    Kinda late reply but did you run extended tie rods or not ?

    • @MaxFuller
      @MaxFuller  ปีที่แล้ว

    you shouldve kept the sway bar

    • @MaxFuller
      @MaxFuller  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tyre kept hitting on it, at some point I will put spacers on and maybe refit them

      @@MaxFuller just add a bump stop for steering , you dont actually need that much lock but you do need the sway bar.

      @@inventas i agree, i ran without one because i didnt have the endlinks or something and had the same attitute, "other people dont run them, it will be fine" once i fitted one again i was much happier with the handling

    If you're looking for an upgrade in the future, CNC71 makes a really nice version of the 'angle blocks'. A bit pricier than the eBay ones, but should last a very long time.
    Enjoying the series, keep it up!

      Ah yeah I have seen them they look good! I will see how these cheap ones do, if they are rubbish then I will have to look into upgrading 👌🏼
      Thanks for watching☺️🤘🏼
