- In this video I’m going to do 4 wheels swaps on my Hot Wheels.
•1st is a ‘67 Chevy Camaro
•2nd is a Buick Grand National
•3rd is a ‘56 Ford pickup truck
4th is a Nissan Skyline HT 2000GTx

Tools and material used
•3/8” cordless drill
•9/64” drill bit
•#50 drill bit (for tap)
•2-56 tap
•2-56 x 1/8” button head screws
•small flathead screwdriver
•0.032 (.81mm) brass rods (for axles)
•small red wire cutters
•blue bead crimpers

Nice wheels swap. Can't decide in the which one is the best. I think it stands between the Ford truck and the Buick. I signed the petition. And like I mentioned in previous video. Hell ya way cleaner work than other videos I've seen, thinking about starting to do project like this myself as I just started collecting, at about 75 cars with 2 full sets of premiums and 2 team transports.

They all look Amazing, Question Sir, I was practicing my wheel swap technique, first two, so so , next two perfect. Fifth one , snap the tap inside metal post, not the first time, watching you do it. You make it look easy. Don’t know what I am doing wrong

No hay duda que unas buenas gomas le dan personalidad a un carro. Sobre todo ese camaro 67, que bien q de una vez aprovechaste la base de metal. Que lastima que ya no venga open hood.

Love the way they came out. I always have trouble with axles being too long or short. What method are you using to crimp the ends of the new axles? I have rod material but no way to crimp them down.

Not usually big on those old Skylines but the color coordinating wheels set it off. The pickup comes in 2nd.
Man they all look great my friend, it is amazing what a set of wheels can do for a car. I can't pick a favorite, the skyline and the Grand National are a tie. I know it's not that hard but you make it look way too easy. Pick up a few cars over the weekend for some Wheels, all they need to do is find their new home on a different car.
Like a lot of people have already said, they all turned out great. But I'm a Truck guy so I gotta go with the ‘56 Ford as my absolute Favorite.
I like that Camaro, got one myself. Not the best cast but I love the colours.

very cool and nice work!! looks like you have a couple cordless drills so you don't have to keep changing bits out. where did you get the tap and die kit? what size screws are you using? much cleaner than glue or jb weld!
