Awesome looking figure, its so about time that we have more Jedi to add to the collection, although i do think Aayla should of come with her corresponding robe.She looks fantastic next to Commander Bly but now we NEED some Star Corps grunts. Hasbro, give us a break from Mando figures, we NEED more prequel figures desperately! Great review Nate

100% agreed on needing more prequel era stuff, especially The Clone Wars stuff in Black Series. Personally I'm really hoping that they rerelease some of the jedi (Like Kit Fisto, Mace Windu and Plo Koon) with new forearms and hands to have that armoured look that they had in the first couple seasons of The Clone Wars.
I always loved that look and was disappointed as a kid when they removed those bits of armour in season 3 and onwards.
We'll be getting more in 2023! I hope they go nuts with the upcoming celebratory line for Clone Wars! Thanks for checking out the review, Tracytron. -Justin

Aaayla!! shes a goodun, mine took a shelf dive the other day and almost snapped the light saber. Her ankles are pretty loose on mine but shes an awesome fig. great review Nate. good work as always Lads.

He found something for the republic security droid I think…. Or k2so I can’t remember…. But now it’s sparked that memory of thinking I need to get some of that, then completely forgetting about it as usual!! Haha

Definitely one of the better Aayla black series reviews out there! I’m excited for mine to arrive tomorrow. Sadly, I also wish the face sculpt had a better likeness to Amy Allen, along with more painted details on her top specifically to match the different shades of material used in the movies.

The Vintage Collection Aayla Secura has a face that is funnily somehow more screen accurate... Good looking Black Series figure nonetheless ^^

For a female black series she's really good but yeah she definitely needs some tweaks and improvement. With some ab crunch and alternate hands these would be perfect.

This is a great looking figure for sure. Yeah, it totally would have been next level if the head had way more movement, she's a Jedi after all. Still, I'd love to get my hands on this one, eventually. Great review as always. 👍

I always took it as a "Force gesture" hand. I think it works in that way but it can also work as a gripping hand as well. -Justin

It's nice that we've gotten more women characters this year. Fennec, Ahsoka, Aayla, Omega, Reva, Leia, etc. They're all pretty decent figures as well! -Justin

Mine has some wibbly wobbly ankles and I was deeply saddened by a lack of a robe or extra saber. In a perfect world both wouldve been great but I woul've been happy just getting one or the other. I was really disappointed by the lack of ab crunch as it seemed as though there was enough clearance for it. At the end of the day thoough, I just love getting more aliens and jedi on the shelf

They killed it with this one. I just randomly found it at Walmart and picked it up and the joints, articulation, paint details and sculpt are incredible for a $30 figure. I don’t like any other Hasbro lines but I have to say they’re pretty consistent with black series, especially when it comes to Jedi/Sith

It's about time we admit those sabre blades can come off, but calling them removable, as if it's a feature, is a bit generous. Good to see feminine figures that aren't grossly sexualized. Top review as always, thanks.
The fact that the blade is removable is simply that, a fact. It fits the definition for removable. And I agree! They’ve actually made plenty of great women character figures this year. -Justin

Just picked this one up as i found her on a bit of a sale. Nice and always good to get more Jedi, but i am agreeing with the rest, she really needs a robe. Just look how that one accessory boosted Ahsoka from good to great.

I'm looking forward to getting the Magna Guard figures when they are released. Aayla looks great and can't wait to add her to my collection. My 13 Battalion figures showed up today and look great. Bang. 40th! Far too many figures in Attack line. More Mando please! Definitely more carbonised 2-pacs! Royal Guard and Tie Pilot truly are my dream team! The amount of screen time they shared demanded such a release! I don't know what to say about Aurra? I haven't exactly gone overboard on laser sword wielders in my collection.... Excellent line up of figures at the end. Always enjoy those.
Aayla Secura is definitely worth it if you like the prequel Jedi! And yes David you won't believe how off-the-rails this Friday's episode will be. Unscripted. Wild & uncut! -Justin
@@OutOfTheBasement Looking forward to it J. More so, now! Regardless of what anyone thinks of hasbro, good or bad, what cannot be debated any longer is just how strange their operation is. If it were a human, I'd hazard a guess they would be diagnosed with bi-polar. Dizzying highs one day, crashing lows the next....then repeated. On a loop.
I usually have a pretty positive spin on most things...but man oh man that $70 carbonized 2-pack really broke my brain! In what realm are those repaints of old figures $35 each? More than Dark Trooper! More than Saw! More than Cobb! What?!? -Justin

Will buy more on 40th rotj. Carnor as well to 'balance' so it's safe to say I like the figures, but who on earth thought this was good idea!!?? Couldn't they also make them 30-35 as a gesture? I'd buy them for that, but now it's a joke....
@@davidedge2828 Hello David I was also thinking about getting the carbonized 2 pack from Amazon but I couldn't find it. And now I'm hearing it's $70, no F-in way. The Imperial Guard looks great, the tie fighter pilot looks ok I guess. Just no way paying that much for 2 figures especially two older figures. I'll get this set if it's on sale I won't pay over $50. Later David, Tom
Extra hilts are now necessary... Something I didn't like about the Ahsoka figure is the blade's peg and how thin it was so I dare not remove the blades for extra poses and Aayla's saber will suffer from this as well. Since this is a AotC Jedi, this figure needed the cloak. I'm afraid they're starting to put less and less content... and it hurts in most countries where prices are ridiculous (Canada here). Can't deny that the sculpting and painting are on point.
I really wish they'd do the alternate hilts like they sometimes do in TVC! Definitely should have came with the cloak as well. -Justin
Hasbro finally shipped mine and it should be here in a week or so. Despite not looking like the actor I think she does evoke Aayla for sure. I'm just shocked to see people pose some figures on one leg like that, considering how finicky most figures seem to be when it comes to standing them. I have no idea how you did that :D

She looks like a solid figure and even with the offset face and odd choice to put her in AotC box, She is a no brainer pick up! Love they gave her butters as well!
If im not mistaken this is the 2nd Blue Skin Alien in the line and i think hasbro has done awesome at getting the color and look just right for Thrawn and Aayla!

I love the figure but it's basically incomplete, what they did they nailed imo but it is an unpainted figure (minus the face) and I'm only happy I bought it because I enjoy painting figures, but if that wasn't something I liked to do I'd be disappointed with this figure because of that. It feels a little lazy

The shade of blue and the face sculpt look too cartoonish compared to kit fisto and plo.
It almost looks like the face isn't photo-real. Like the original release of Hera. -Justin
