Good ol ATS, unload a belly dump at a loading dock. Overfloater did a really good job making the game truck look like the Welker's International. Actually the real truck's rebuild is how I found their channel. Truckers can be a whiny bunch when the mood hits them, tends to be the ones that have only ever drug vans to and from warehouses. Hell from posts I see on Facebook you would think 80% forget there are other types of trailers besides vans. Not sure why anyone thinks your pre trip is cringe, the only thing you can't do is open the hood to check fluids, you nail every other part of it just fine. The checks you had to do when you worked at the airport were a lot more detailed and took longer than a truck pre trip.
I just got a new system and got back into ATS, been loving Texas and all the newer states. You always do such a great job of showing off the game and mods, deeply appreciated.
As a truck driver from San Angelo, Tx, I run 87/27 daily, and let me tell you, it’s SPOT on, especially my town of San Angelo, down to the Ram statues in front of the Welcome to San Angelo sign. I’m amazed and stoked at this DLC!
I live in a town with a paper mill and the truck sounds so on point with the Jake brakes and goin thru gears it’s unbelievable. Low rpm, the delay with the engine brake. Everything is so realistic it’s crazy. I drive a box truck, not an 18 wheeler but the realistic aspect is unreal it’s so close

Nice video! What’s crazy but cool Jeff is I’ve actually run this route a few times from Del Rio up 277 all the way to Wichita Falls, TX right by the Oklahoma line. I’d run it on my way back to Michigan. Realistically it takes me 6 hours just to run that whole stretch in Texas, it’s insane lol. I was just reliving the ride and recognizing the towns you went through. Taking that route in real life is really awesome! Definitely noticed it is indeed set up very similar to reality. That customs border check you passed near the end there on the NB lane is there too. Keep up the vids Jeff, truck on!

As a real life trucker I enjoyed your pre checks regardless of the simulators poor abilities being a simulator. Just saying, every Real "Super trucker" knows the importance of a pre check. I had a cavalier and now a cobalt. Cavalier was a great little car, and the cobalt has been good to me for 5 or 6 yrs now and still going. Though I love good OBS Ford truck
Hey Jeff when you were talking about how blue the skybox is, the sky out there in the Texas hill country actually does look that blue, my family has some land out there in the hill country and the sky always looks that blue every time I go out there
I've been avoiding this truck after it suddenly appeared at the International dealerships. It looked old and less desirable than the brands others trucks...now, well you've got me thinking...I need to give one of these further thought. 13 speed is my preference (though I'm sure you could equip it however you wish)....I'm-a-thinkin' I need to give one of these truck's a try...great video Jeff...now I need to travel to Flagstaff...lol.

They are realistic, only really old or poorly tuned trucks blow any smoke. The crazy high horse power rigs have to run way too much fuel to keep from melting pistons.
@@samuelflores6394 the game doesn't have that kind of weather. Plus loading and unloading doesn't take long enough for the engine to cool down that far to be a cold start every time you got in the truck to start it.
14:35 when they "hero cop" is there any repercussions post RP session discussing said incident from yourself or other members confronting said person or is it shrugged off ?
As a doordash driver in the weekends (full time previously), Google maps is a lot more accurate than that on phones lol. Excusable I guess considering when the game actually came out.

Also referring to the mention of ram trucks, my 2018 bighorn has 84,000 and minus a couple issues it’s been a solid and reliable daily that I got with 22,000 on it. It did have the recall on the locking tailgate latch and it had the dreaded 3rd tail light leak and had to have a piece in the cooling system replaced due to prior negligence, but other than oil changes brakes and tires zero issue with it
My Thrustmaster T248 works GREAT for ATS,just can't figure out how to do manual shifting,new to using a wheel and shifter in ATS,are you looking forward to Oklahoma and Kansas coming to ATS Jeff?
In my game, when I am in interior cam, everything is brightened and looks washed out, especially with PNG. It doesn't seem to happen in your videos. How did you fix it?
I wish I had a gaming PC I would love to be in OCRP, I have so many ideas for characters including 1 that would be so funny it might have guys break character a bit lol.. I've been practicing his voice and everything.. but until or if I get one I'll just live through OCRP from everyone I'm subbed too

That 9300 looks d and v trucking company truck. Expect there's are 9600 series eagle I say there because they run a few trucks in there fleet with the same paint scheme.

If you use koolizz's nvidia overlay the 1.40 version on top of the graphics mod then it eases up on some of the over saturated colors
Is this played on a computer and what kind of computer do you need or graphics cards ect you need game looks really fun?
