- Recently, we ran our 7th ever kid's trade night at our sports card shop! I love being able to put on this event since it's something I was never given an opportunity to attend as a young card collector. There were tons of sports cards and collectors there, everyone was wheeling and dealing all night long. We had free food & lots of giveaways too, to help make the experience more fun for so many people who came to enjoy the night! yesss ive been to the last two they have both been some of the most fun ive ever had (i was the kid in the garland shirt my friend was in the kupp jursey)
The way that u don’t look down or talk down on any of these kids collections is so great man. These kids look up to u and for u to look through all these collections and even just buying a card for like $2 or $3 can make a kids whole year. I got a suggestion for u that would be super cool. U should keep a box of some #’d cards (baseball, basketball, football) next to u at the table when ur looking at these kids collections and you can hook them up when you see a kid who looks like they either just started collecting or their collection doesn’t have much in it for whatever the reason may be. That kid would probably treasure that card like it was worth $1,000 because it was personally given to them by you. Inspiring the youth in the hobby

It is so impressive to see how you interact with the kids. You are becoming a staple to the hobby and all these kids will talk about how much you helped them. It is also great to see so many parents let their kids grow and develop by letting them do their own deals without interfering. These are great experiences for them to help them with their confidence as they get older.

As a father of 3 thecway you interact with the kids and draw so many to want to come meet you. Seems like such an amazing time forcthose young boys. I can only hope to see much joy out of my little boys faces when they get older.

These kids buying and selling cards at such a young age is amazing to me. They are learning so much at a young age about value, negotiation, understanding, supply and demand as well as honesty, trust and self-confidence within themselves. As well as loving sports and cards they are gaining massive life lessons. Kudos to you and your team and all the other adult card collectors and traders out there and the same to all the mothers and fathers out there that are giving their kids the ability to grow and mature at such a young age. It great to see and gives me much hope that the future generations will grow into something better than what we have now.
