Allahu Akbar. So happy for you sis. 💕 You're very good at finding your way around the Gambia. I would probably get lost. 😂😂 You're doing amazing with African Diaries. May Allah continue to bless you your channel and your business now. ✨✨✨
I've been through these processes and I can state categorically that it's more a matter of knowing the system than having someone to go for you. Gambian officials take time to explain the whole process step by step if you have the time. I'm speaking from experience. Thanks and congratulations.
Dear sister Firstly may I congratulate you on the successful registration of your social enterprise, this video is particularly useful to myself and my family because we intend to register something similar. Our question is as an ECOWAS citizen what are they conditions of opening business in the Gambia. Can we open business straight away?, Do we have to reside in the Gambia for some time before we can register?, Are cost implications different?. Thanks sister stay safe and stay blessed.
Hello there, thank you so much for congratulating me! I'm glad this was helpful to you. Well I am not a citizen of The Gambia, I just have an ID card and I had no requirements except paying the fee of the registration. Isatou Bokum is a Gambian TH-camr who did a video about opening businesses in The Gambia - I recommend you to watch that video and see if that answers your questions!! Good luck
Wishing you the best in your business endeavors. Is your plan to have someone to manage and operate your business while you're back in Sweden? Keep up the great content Marie. :)
Thank you sooo much fam !! I am going to need that No there is no one but me running this at the moment. Taking one step at the time, investing myself in it so it can grow bit by bit. I need the good luck wished lol
Hello Marie, I am hoping that you and your family are all well. I was wondering if you could do a video about incense or bakhoor. The type that you place in a burner with charcoal. Im interested to know the length of time you leave the hot charcoal before putting the incense on and the best way to get a nice smell, the type of woods used to make the incense, the different types of incense and what they are used for, the time of day they are used, how is the burnt or spent product disposed of, how are the burners cleaned after use and perhaps a trip to the market, so we can see the different burner and their cost, also, the different products and the cost of a gram or so. Thanks
Hello! Thank you for giving me the video idea - I can definitely do a video on that. I am not sure it can be as detailed as you'd like but I'll do my best! Thank you so mcuh
Good video. But thus thing about knowing people is not good for Africa. This system has to stop. We all shall get the same treatment and service. Together we can do something about it.
This is very helpful ! Do you know what the difference is between an individual business and a comapny registraion? 2 years have already passed now, is there any new information you can share with us or things you would have done differently now that you have more experience?
I try to call my best friend masamba touray he lives with you in gambia and we talk every day but i get from you perfekt Information Whats happening in gambia.. do you speak wolof?
Thank you very much for your content. I have two question: to open a sole trader company as a foreigner, the TIN needs to be of the business or my personal one from another country? Other main question: how to obtain a Business permit? Thank you sister

@@africandiaries You are an angel Marie and one of very few youtubers who do the work for the people, and not the popularity. :)
