Love the Audi. Why is it so expensive in Jamaica though? Is it the cost to ship it there? Also, do they sell the left hand drive cars in JA too or would I have to ship from the U.S. I think I'm on of the few who likes left side drive cars while in JA.
Depending on the car brand, how much would the service package cost? Plus how long should this package be on the new vehicle since the vehicle depreciates as soon as it comes off the car lot of the dealership, it not considered new any longer, hence the time frame on the service package for maintenance and services. Please advise therein, thanks kindly, especially for us women who knows not that much about cars and not be taken advantage of
@Asafa - As u well know, few vehicles perform like a European premium vehicle - the handling... The braking... Just outstanding.... when they're not malfunctioning, at the dealership, and you lamenting that purchase. But, as long as u have that warranty, ur good (and u get a compatible loaner from the dealership). For that year/age, a similar European flagship vehicle, S class etc, here in the States, u can find one for less-than-half price; why? Because they're prone to break-downs, and the repair - parts/labor are absolutely insane.
I've been in love with Audi since 2010 when my aunt's husband got me an A4 owners book. Unless you have experienced one of pay close attention to them on the net, most people won't know just how much an Audi offers. For the Q7 55 TFSI, I would do what Calvin from Calvin's Car Diary always says. He said whatever car you have, from a 3 cylinder to a 16 cylinder, a stage 1 tune makes a lot of difference. A stage 1 on the Q7 should put it in the 400hp range and certainly the 0-200 would drop. Also, the stuff you had in the boot didn't help the time. Stage 1 and an OEM plus exhaust would have this being the baddest Q7 in JA. Especially with a chrome delete. It would give a similar vibe to the S class you had.
@asafasub10 to the right of your steering wheel at the bottom of the dash, there is the deepest storage pocket there is in any car you own right now. Check it out my friend. I see you haven't spent the tme to learn all your features, with the air suspension in Auto mode, the suspension will automatically adjust to the road conditions (if you are equiped with the radar sensors), and if you need more acceleration, push the lever back once for sport mode in any drive mode, or simply use the paddle shifters and access sport mode for a short period. Big ups sah!!
This evaluation business in Jamaica makes no sense whatsoever, a car is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. You can always see what people are asking for a car similar to your own by looking at the classifieds and making what allowances as necessary; for example, slightly less mileage; number of previous owners etc.
You got robbed bro, but that's just my opinion, (Jamaicans will say I am badmind) I guess if you dont got money to lose you cant lose it.. Great video. Enjoy your ride, One life. Peace
I wonder where all that money from car "import duties" go in Jamaica? Its definitely not into repairing the roads. Also, people who are saying Asafa got robbed have to realize the car import duty in Jamaica is literally the cost of the car. So yes, to clear the car he had to pay like 70-80k USD... This is the harsh reality of owning a car in Jamaica.

Last year under the CARIFORUM-EU agreement, European vehicles (and other products) became exempted from customs tax, so this impacted the costs of their vehicles so selling prices are now lower. The dealer have to send a dealer replacement cost for a 2024 then from there a depreciation is derived to come up with a value for a 2021.

Year 2 15%
Year 3 10%...
