From 1:16:07 , that uber long-winded mathematical speech from Monty that was blasted in Sebastian's face without a pause was masterful!! 😂 My brain was starting to melt. 😵💫
Monty’s speech was just about understanding how PLANESHIFT works in mathematical terms WITHOUT magic and comprehension of “Creating a Multiverse”. Monty just said real science isn’t far behind magic in the world of Drakkenheim
I love the implication that Rudi's lesson is clearly meant to be a crude display of fierce and unrestrained violence and she tries to make it look so formal, composed and conducted with method and absolutely not brutal, it's just a cute nanny... 😂
1:27:20 The fact that Monty said "CHemistry" insead of "kemistry" makes me a lil sus of Erla. Also, the fact that the password is a laxative makes me think it’s all 'bullshit' lol.
The thing about being late with this series is that I can look at future episode descriptions, then look at Christophe and be like: “he’s a nice kid… too bad he’s screwed”
I love this campaign. Definitely one of my top 3 favourites, behind Dungeons of Drakkenheim and Shadows of Drakkenheim. I hate how, now that I've caught up, I have to wait for Monday for the next one. Also, Ignatius makes some of the best moments. I love how you guys can just build off each other.
Loathe though I am to criticise. I played Cricket an Croquet in a university but Lawn Bowlling is NOT LIKE ten pin Lane bowling. It is a sport where you 'lay' a JACK ( not Plutoson) a small white ball of about two inches in diameter. Then two players or teams roll 4 bowls towards the jack. Whosoever gets closest gets one point. If you have two closer you get two points etc. So the most you can score is 4 points. Then you walk down to that end and start the same process in reverse ... bowling back to the point where you earlier bowled from . Until you got to 21 points for two single players or 15 ends for a 4 player or 18 ends for pairs or three. Sorry for my pedantry.
@DungeonDudes, What kinds of crazy magic do you imagine would be possible if a powerful wizard from the world of Critical Role showed up with some refined Residuum and mixed it with Delerium? Really a question for Monty to ponder as Drakkenheim is his setting.
The basic rules for D&D should be free online. Which is really all you need to get started playing. I’m not sure about the conversion, but all you truly need to play if you want to go further than the basic rules is the players handbook, monster manual, and dungeon masters guide which in Canada you can get all three for $150. You can honestly get by with just the players handbook for $50
@@DungeonDudesHello! I didn't write that they "upset" me. I wrote that they didn't "seem very medieval fantasy". There is a difference. If you're having fun playing the game then that is what counts. Just don't expect me to buy your books if you don't hold to a more traditional medieval fantasy items exclusion list. I only recently started watching small bits of your Fate of Drakkenhiem series. Overall for your TH-cam channel I'm very impressed by many of your videos which have indepth analysis of 5e subclasses, multi-classing, spell usage, understanding tricky rules, and many other great topics. Your scripted format is generally smoother and more concise than other TH-camrs who do 5e content speaking more extemporaneously. I went through your cantrip ranking and analysis. I would have ranked the mending and message cantrips as higher. I would like to see the spare the dying cantrip fixed in the next edition of D&D. Thank you. -Dave

That's DOCTOR Montgomery Martin 😅

Using Monty's government name and proper honorific for this quote is nasty work; I love it 😂

I love that Kelly spent like 3/4s of the show just writing a poem😂

@@DungeonDudes best on the spot poetry I've ever heard 👍
Love you guys. Thanks for making a difference in my life and for so many others.
These 4 ppl playing a game help me keep it together.
Hell, this show is such an antidote for my stress... Keep it up guys! Your dedication and care is contagious and super helpful!
Thank you so much. This means the world to us.
Watching Monty go into DefCon Drunken Jock is hilarious. 😆
Guarantee he's made fun of a few jocks in his day..
Monty’s speech was just about understanding how PLANESHIFT works in mathematical terms WITHOUT magic and comprehension of “Creating a Multiverse”. Monty just said real science isn’t far behind magic in the world of Drakkenheim
I know it's been a few months since the format change but it's really nice to see you all play in person again.
We are really happy being together.
It's good and it's Fate of Drakkenheim. The best TTRPG on youtube in the Universe. Thank you and good friday to all of you.
Thank you for sharing your awesome creativity and adventures. Every episode is fabulous.
Thank you 🙏
Cranston Heisenberg. Like Brian Cranston. The guy who interprets Walter White. I hope there is some guy named Tuco in all of this 😅.
The shows since y'all got back in person have been particularly amazing.
Also, shout out to the editing, Kyle! The bro back and forth was lovely
This episode was pure genius. Some of the best entertainment I've listened to in my life :D

Another fantastic Friday started off right with the Dungeon Dudes.
A class on 20 sided dice...
Also Pluto totes needs to kidnap Wilhelm and force him into an annoying night of frat parties.

41:56 "i can count"
Joe, i almost spit out my drink at that
30:36 Nobody at the table reacted to this hillariously awkard and perfect threat/whatever that was
Love Monty talking about dice in such a complicated way that Kelly fell asleep
Love listening to this campaign at work. Keeps me awake and gives ideas for when I run my game
Ah yes, Heisenberg the chemistry teacher, hope to see more of him in the future.
The thing about being late with this series is that I can look at future episode descriptions, then look at Christophe and be like: “he’s a nice kid… too bad he’s screwed”
Omg the “posthumous poets society”! 😂 OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN!
It's the lecture on dice rolling probability for me

Pluto „Can I handle some balls, too?“
Engelheart „Yeah you can! Can you handle these balls?!“
Man I Love boisterous discussions about sports 😂
I love the breaking bad reference of having the science teacher be named Heisenberg
As a Jock who later became a Nerd, this is not ever how it went.
I mean, unless you guys were really this nerdy back then.
Wedgie!
Excited for another Drakkenheim Friday! Your stream always helps get me primed for our Friday night game!
Glad you enjoy it!
Does Monty want to be a professor? I can totally see him trying to make dice rolling a whole class.
Claps for Sebastiens poem

Thank you 😊
I can’t wait to see her lecture turn into her dismembering the dean in front of the students.
So excited for another episode 👍
Kelly didn't lie in the interaction with the halfling. I personally wouldn't have called for a deception check, but it was funny all the same.
Happy Drakkenfriday everyone!
And Drakkensaturday for the viewers who get to watch it in the "future" thanks to the magic of the International Date Line!
As a mathematician, that lecture sounds legit 😂 great episode
