Sadly, it's unlikely we get a season 3.. The good news is the manga has the complete story of Get Backers as well as some arcs that weren't adapted by the anime. You can read it free in a website like manga rock, then search Get Backers and enjoy the story up to the very end.. Trust me, the manga is miles ahead of the anime and most of them become Godly in battle that can manipulate reality in the final arc of the story. It's crazy. Ban did fight Kagami and Akabane for real there.. And that hindu guy in this vid 1:22 is like the opposite of Ginji and has an alter ego as powerful as Raitei.
Not much, kind of. This anime arc was very similar to the final manga arc, but HEAVILY cut short because the manga hadn't actually gotten to that point yet (basically, they took a few rough notes and made a short finale out of it, where in the manga it's more detailed, and lasts the entire final third or so of the series). The biggest difference is that you can't just go from the Beltline to Babylon City...the door's one way, and even Kagami is "stuck" beneath it. Earning the right to get through the door is what the finale ends up being all about.
@@thehavocmiranda Yeah, but the manga wasn't over when the anime came out. The final arc of the anime was made purely for the anime (the last stuff animated stuff that was actually in the manga were the Goddess' Arms arc and the bit where Ginji goes to the hospital). But there are a few things similar between the anime's final arc, and the manga's final arc, even though the manga's finale came many years later, such as the group heading to the Belt Line, and Masaki Kurusu and, heck, most of the new characters, who appeared in post-anime manga arcs.
His name is Kagami, but yes a very satisfying punch indeed. It's a shame that Getbackers don't get as much praise as other anime do.
A shame they didn’t continue the anime. It was cool and ahead of its time when it first came out.
And bruh, that’s Kagami. Earrings guy wtf 💀
You think they do a reboot

What's the name of the background soundtrack? It's great
The track from this scene never made it onto any of the OSTs, so it doesn't have a name.
