Love this podcast. Please make them as long as possible. it is valuable information and relatable for serious bikers. Ignore the noobs that suggest this video is "too long" Amber is truly inspiring.
For veggies, seasoning is they key to great flavor. It's boring if you just steam the veggies and add some salt and pepper, but very flavorful if you eat them with lemon pepper, sriracha, Korean spices or try other seasonings. Also, try them with hummus, eggplant dip or other Mediterranean sides. Vary what you add and how you prepare your meals
What about those of us who train early in the morning because it’s the most convenient time of day? I get up, get on the bike, do my workout, and then have breakfast and go to work. This seems to work for me, but is there anything I could do better?
Hey, Robert! The only rides that we advise doing with no carbs are low-intensity rides under 60 minutes, so if your morning workout is anything above endurance pace (and done so without carbohydrate fueling before/during) it just means you wont be getting the most out of your workout, and not maximizing your potential gains!
Guys, this video, like all the others, could have been so much shorter than it is. Your subscriber number is so low, and I think it's because most of your videos are unnecesarily long...and boring. Try to be more succinct and maybe inject some energy into the conversation. I could literally fall asleep to any one of your videos, and that's a problem.
@@IronTom It can either be long, or boring, but it can't be both. And unfortunately for them, most of their videos are both. I'm not saying it's not good information once you boil it down and remove all the unnecessary tangents, but I can't be bothered to listen to several droning voices bore me to tears to get to it. Their subscriber numbers and viewing numbers tell you all you need to know. Meanwhile, GCN and other cycling channels are killing it. And what makes it even worse is that this channel is promoting their actual business! They're not in the TH-cam business (thankfully for them or they'd be broke), they're in the cycling app business. Hopefully that's going better than this is for them.
@@jshepard5840 I would like to see you start a channel and recognize how much hard work and research it takes to do what Trainerroad does. "GCN and other cycling channels" cater to youtube views by mostly make it much more visually appealing which helps with low attention span (which seems to be what you have...) Keep in mind this is a podcast, not a typical TH-cam channel, and on that basis, the information that they provide and discuss about is extremely informational and beneficial.
@@trinipee You're making horrid excuses for the most boring cycling podcast on the planet. Podcasts are radio for the internet basically. I've listened to talk radio for 50 years and never in all that time was I bored to tears in the way that these people bore me. I am an avid cyclist, and while I agree their information is great, I would rather drive a railroad spike through my ear rather than listen to the monotone droning of this channel. As for your snarky and ignorant comment about my person, I consider the source and assure you that I have a great attention span, until I encounter something so benign that I simply give up before wasting any of my precious time. You're free to endure this podcast till your heart's content, as I'm sure you do, which tells me all I need to know about you.

Nice video; I'm going to try Amber's nutrition tips in the future.
