**Disclaimer**
I am not an expert on using CRICUT DESIGN SPACE on an IPAD. However, I am sharing my process for using the CHARACTER MAP to access all of the glyphs and special characters while using Cricut Design Space.
Follow along with me as I share my process.
You will need to download 2 Apps in order to follow the same process that I followed: iFont and Unicode Character Viewer. iFont is currently free and Unicode Character Viewer comes with a fee.

I’m a new viewer and now a subscriber. You explained this process so clearly! Like you, I usually use a Windows computer, but being able to design on the iPad is sometimes handy. I read the Unicode app reviews and so many couldn’t find their added fonts. I came to TH-cam to find a recent DS user, and found you! So I bought ($.99, btw), and it works perfectly. Thank you! Now I’ll go back and catch up on your other videos.

Great video. I use my iPad more than my laptop only because it is my husband’s computer. I have gone through all the steps but can’t seem to paste the glyph once I copy it. What are you doing to paste it in??
I was using the Apple Pen. I double-clicked on the screen and the option to paste came up.

Do I need the cricut maker to design shirts and thi gs,or is there another machine I can use. I simply don't know which one to use. Any help will be appreciated. I haven't bought one as of yet
I love both machines; but if you are unsure and you can afford it, get the Maker.

Dalonda, I got character map upw or whatever, anyway, I typed in w and pasted it and got p!!! I did it again & same thing. After a while it became a rectangle box. Any letter i tried, was not the letter that pasted. What am I doing wrong? I need a w and a e for welcome….
Make sure the font you have selected is the same as the font you are working with in the character map.
I just followed your steps and the glyphs are not showing in design space. Do you have any suggestions on making it show up?
I struggled last night when I was live. Try to ungroup and see if it's innthe layers panel.
