It has been interesting to see you work metal to make both small and larger items. Now, I have to look up 'Type C Viking Ax!' Inserting, and then hammer welding the edge metal might have something to do with it. We will see!
Good to hear you enjoy it. The "type C" is a term made up a Norwegian archaeologist and he have grouped iron age axen depending on the shape of the axe head. so this shape I am forging here in this video would be in category C
It would be best to use it all the time but sometimes it is not practical, it's not depending on fuel or material I just have it for dust and smoke. I worked for a long time in very bad environment so I think I am extra sensitive now.

You don't usually wear a breathing mask in other videos. Is this normal to wear a mask like that or only for specific type of work or fuel?
