There's a lot of concepts going on, but for a first playthrough you managed really well to navigate within these accursed and icy halls. Well done. :) There are some things I would like to point: 22:49 Jesse's first active ability has a target, which means the target will be affected, not him. This means the attack and the "reduce range by 1 this round" (Active abilities, page 23). This can come in handy against some ranged monsters later in the game. Same applies to Artemis and his "reduce attack rolls by 1", which means he will weaken the attack of the monsters he is attacking. As a final note, the (max 1) means that the lasting effect can't be stacked (Lasting effect, page 26) and it will last until the start of the next Explorer phase. 28:40 If an attack would affect more than one unit (such as a trap, exploding barrel or in this case from a horror event), only one attack roll is made, the result of which is then applied to all blockers (Attack, page 14). 34:37 For marking the closed doors use the door figure (that will be placed in the stand). You used the destroyed door token, which is placed once the doors are destroyed. 36:53 Force alternator has a two targets icon (Two targets, page 25), which means that one target unit will have a decreased and another target an increased armor and will. This lasting effect will last until the next Explorer phase. 46:01 Moonbeast wouldn't be able to pull Jesse because there's an obstacle in the way (that ability can't target through obstacles in the same way Yaddithian was able to). 48:47 When you use Phrenetic venom you first attack yourself for 1 black die. Afterwards all of your attack rolls until the start of the next Explorer phase are increased by 3. Remember that an active ability that doesn't require a legal target (as it is with Phrenetic venom) affects the activating unit by default (which means yourself in this case). 49:34 Correct, Force alternator is considered a ranged weapon. If the weapon has a ranged active ability with an attack effect, it is considered a “ranged weapon”. If the weapon has a melee active ability with an attack effect it is considered a “melee weapon”. (Ranged targeting, page 25). 52:32 Byakhee is just 1 step from Jesse (one top-right diagonal movement), and Artemis 2 steps. 54:07 True Moonbeast can't even target you with his pull ability. You correctly moved him to be adjacent to Jesse. Looking forward to see the deaths of Jesse and Artemis! ';..;'
Thank you so much for this information. I will make a note in the video to help explain these rules, and mention them I. The next video so everyone will be able to know. This game is amazing. I am having a blast playing it. I love how much it makes you think and react on the fly it’s such an thrilling experience. The writing is also fantastic this coupled with the art really makes this game come alive. Thank you for such a great game!! Thanks for the great comment and thanks for watching 😃😃👍
So, what should he have rolled specifically for the horror event attack at 28:40? The card shows two different dice pools. Do the players pick which dice pool to use when separated by a semi colon like that?
Great question. That horror event hits all explores. You roll the black and 2 white dice. Compare that to the will of all the explorers. deal damage to those that the roll met or beat the will. Then the horror card will attack again with 2 white dice targeting all explorers and check the attack number against all the will of the explorers. What Machina arecana was explaining is your don’t roll for each individual when an attack targets more then One unit. Hope that make sense. Thanks for the great question and thanks for watching
There was an activation mistake with the Yaddithian monster. The outcome of the activation would not have changed. I will discuss the error in the next video. Also I used a new video and editing software and there are a few camera stutters that I am not happy with. Thank you for your patience enjoy.

When you got the holster, you can't actually equip it for free, because it needs an augment action... The free equip action for apparel only really helps when you're not wearing armour, or want to switch to a different coat. Once you have on armour with upgrades and augment, it's not going to be worth unequipping all of it to equip one new item. All that means that you couldn't have used the cheap equip action for the weapon, though it is a cool weapon! Don't worry about being stuck on chapter one for a while;, my last game spiralled out of control and got up to monster level 3 before I could light the first chapter space, but I still almost made it to the endgame. What brand your items' sleeves are?. I use Paladin sleeves for almost all my games, but they haven't released that size yet. Thank you! Excelente Playtrhrough!

Normally I use mayday, but for this game I was able to get card sleeves addon during the Kickstarter I’m not sure company name and they may have made them for Machina Arcana I wish I had more info for you.
