How is that even possible?? 😂 Anything the Churko brothers touches turns to absolute garbage. He ruined Ded and Gemini Syndrome as well. Guess I'll go back to Vain Velocity since they're the only ones left with some effing balls. If you listen to their album Emerge & See you'll hear what I mean. It destroys the bigger bands in the genre. Also I miss Ivan in Motograter and Ghost Machine because atleast those bands had style AND substance to their music. 5FDP feels like a military gimmick geared towards Monster drinking-Affliction-T-shirt-wearing soccer moms. No offense 😅
I used to be the biggest fan of this band I still love their older stuff but yeah Nicholas is right bands like Vain Velocity destroy modern 5FDP and their lyrics are actually really unique and have deep meaning

@Aarons Reaction right there with you, yet we have local stations that play nothing but metallica one day a week. It sucks since their music isn't very interesting, certainly not all day binge-worthy. I do like a couple of their tunes, but most of it is garbage.
@Aarons Reaction ooof... saw them in 2000. They are hard to beat. Everything from the Album with One on it kinda was.. painful, but before then, they were the best of the best. They would've beaten Rocky in the ring.
The best song I've heard in a long time. Good guitars, nice bass line to back them up, great drums, and with Ivan Moodys amazing vocals. 20 out of 10 great fucking job

@Orcus999 As another "true" metal fan, I still love mainstream rock and metal. I may be into much harder and niche genres and bands now, but one day it all started with my dad playing me disturbed and ffdp. Rock on Orcus, stuff like this'll make more of us metalheads eventually ✊

One thing about Ivan is he's a killer writer! What makes thier songs so meaniful and have such a punch is the writing!
Y'know, you seem really kind and genuine so I'll let you off. Ivan is notorious for terrible lyrics, it's his sound and vocal skills that make him stand out. No, I won't be that guy "you should listen to blah blah". I'm just informing you, death punch isn't known for their lyrical depth

That's gotta be exciting buddy you'll like Five Finger you'll get to see them play some there new stuff I saw those guys live when Jason and Jeremy were in the band but they opened up with Under and Over it and finished it with The Bleeding but they played Bad Company, Jekyll and Hyde and many others and I caught one of Zoltan's guitar picks and it's a plus for me cause I love to jam and shred on guitar also!! 🎸 🤘🤘🤘

I found you guys back when I was an awkward, prepubescent *7th grader*.
The Hard To See music video got me curious, and then Far From Home made me realize you guys were a force to be reckoned with, something deceptively unique/special, in music.
Something worth paying *very* close attention to. (FFH is *still* one of my fave riffs of all time)
That signature anger/grit, mixed with never-wasted lyrical content that fuels those very feelings (anger/grit), Ivan's unique voice/demeanor, and cathartic soaring/catchy choruses...
Its a potent mixture. That can even make you realize its maybe all for a larger reason.
Anger, is not fun, but yet, its an essential part of being human.
I did my best to be a pacifist growing up...I ran away from/didn't *really* deal with the things bothering me.
You guys taught me that being angry is...okay. That there's a time and place to address/deal with everything. And even channeled properly, it can do some good.
I know I'm not the only one out there who needed help realizing that.
Anyways, I've been following ever since. Its been FIFTEEN YEARS.
Heck, I'm closing in on a decade since graduating from college and starting in this career.
You guys are titans now. And I'm still loving damn near everything you guys put out.

This next album, without a doubt, will as well.

I’ve never heard someone so accurately describe Ivan’s voice before. I’ve tried in conversation, eventually I just have to show them a song.
I got into FFDP a about six years ago but every sense I been hooked there are truly one of the best refreshing metal acts every . You really can't trust bands now a days every sense Metallica sold out with that ridiculous album called the Black album and everything after except maybe hardwire . FFDP in my book took back metal and put a new face to it . I am so glad someone put in a CD of this band now I own everything on them .

My friend killed him self in December 2021. FFDP was his favorite band. We always listened to them together and We saw them In concert in 2018. It was our first real rock concert. We did more than that together. We ran together and road motorcycles together. We drifted apart when I left to school and we barely talked. He texted me one day and asked “are we still best friends?” My response was no. It haunts me to this day and I wish I could take it back. I’m upset with myself that those were the last words I said to him. I’ll never understand why he did what he did and I miss him everyday. I wish I could just see him one last time. Thank you FFDP for releasing music that really hits home. He would have loved to hear this song and the rest of the upcoming album. ❤️ Thanks for reading this

David Draiman, Disturbed, his vocals are the best in hard rock/metal/heavy metal land and it also suits their lyrics 😳. David is definitely the best vocalist.

Alright, these guys were the people who introduced me to heavy metal in 2013. Ever since then I have absolutely adored heavy metal, Great job guys you never disappoint.
I love Ivan Moody as a musician and a person. He is so loving,generous and compassionate for others. You can see hes a kind hearted person unlike other musicians out there.
This is why i support his music. I am a gen X’er…the nirvana , nine inch nails,Alice in chains,foo fighters…
....am a Marine...joined 84'...I just realized I have PTSD.. I can't work in people filled environments.....though I love seeing people happy. All it takes is one to complain its not to 'their' satisfaction and I lose it. So I work with another VET that has the same issues...we work Great together. I thank FFDP for everything I have become since my awakening. Your my Number One music I go to when I feel that....something...inside stirring.

These guys are great and fun to hang out with. I did a photoshoot for a local radio station at one of their shows and they were so cool.... I hope at some point to get to hang out with them again.......

O show deles em 2017 no Rio de janeiro foi histórico, me recordo dele até hoje. Eles também tocaram no Maximus Festival daquele ano. Inclusive, foi a única passagem da banda por aqui

Seems like every new FFDP album takes awhile to grow in me. I have to listen many times to truly start to appreciate it. Took 6 months to really start to move got your 6, less for F8 because of so many strong songs that just grab you.

i heard the intro and i couldn’t be any happier with what this band has done over the last album the last one i really enjoyed by these guys was wrong side of heaven and probably wrong side of heaven 2 those were the best since they went on to improve in F8 fucking loves that album it came out in such a bad time historically but such an amazing time in my life because it was really just uplifting with songs like brighter side of grey and little bit off both songs are fucking amazing and songs like this is war really showed aggression and anger so well the whole album was just what i want five finger to be and then they made afterlife and it’s just getting better can’t fuckin wait for the rest of it to come out
