  • Our First Day In India 🇮🇳 | Old Delhi | Rickshaw Crash | Friendliest People We've Met
This is our first day in India! And we fell in love! We are travelling India for ONE MONTH!!!
Old Delhi is known for the chaos, so we had to experience it first hand! And it did not disappoint! Delhi is not 'Old Delhi' there are many different atmospheres across the capital. South Delhi, where we are staying, is VERY different (almost the opposite) to Old Delhi. We are super excited to experience what India has to offer.

We are Eleise and Lawrence & Nyh - A young family from the south of England. Like many people the pandemic gave us a shake up! While watching hours of Mark Weins in Thailand - We had our “Ah ha” Moment. We decided we wanted to travel.
Enjoying working for ourselves, we didn’t want to give up our business and decided it was entirely possible for us to do both. So we set about making it our lifestyle to work in the UK for a month, and then travel for a month - month on, month off…. until our little boy Nyh goes to school! We want to inspire people that you don’t have to up-sticks, sell all your belongings and leave behind family to be able to see the world.

the man dress you are asking to know it's name is : Kurta (male dress) and Kurti (female version of the same)
bonus tip : choose Cotton as fabric it's cooler, avoid synthetic fabrics and also check %of cotton in Kurta you are buying 100%cotton is most desirable but choose whichever you feel most comfortable wearing.
Also those Kurta aren't always knee length they come in all desired lengths young people mostly buy the short kurtas their length is just upto the belt only.

For foreign tourist when they travel to places like old Delhi ,it's more exotic for them , and we should not feel embarrassed about it ,provided both kinds of places are shown ,like the developed areas and the ones that are stuck in time .

A few extraordinary ones are USB, WIRELESS TELECOM, SURGERY (including plastic surgery and cataract), 0, binary code (due to which we have computers) and many others. Also research on how many inventions are based on the information from our religious scriptures which were 'invented" by others. Maybe then you would appreciate India, Indians and their knowledge and culture a little more.

@Part Time Travelling Family - Eleise and Lawrence
Mahindra & Mahindra was the company that imported and later on got the manufacturing license to produce Jeeps and they were importing the Left Hand Drive " Willy's" Jeeps with the 3 forward gears and the low and high gear ratio 4X4 , later on cut off their deal we Jeep USA, ( They also manufactured International Harvesters Tractors)
Mahindra started production of by itself because of the transfer of technology rights which they bought they used the same chassis and the look of the Jeep but incorporated a 4 cylinder Diesel Peugeot - Aluminium Head engine with rotary diesel pump and another model with inline diesel pumps, the smallest version of the Jeep the CJ series was introduced in the 1990s as the CJ340 and it had a soft hood and an anti roll bar and a bull bar in the front simple tyres. That model was changed to Classic which had wheels with chrome spokes and wide steel belted radial tyres. That was a flop... so they refined the CJ340 and put in a CRDE - (Common Rail Diesel Engine ) that is turbocharged and has all air conditioner, heaters, infotainment system etc. It is almost a copy of the Jeep Bronco, but as Jeep had sold the total manufacturing rights to Mahindra so they are manufacturing a Jeep like the one in America, the engine and transmission is different from the US cousin , the Company badge is Mahindra , name of model - Thar , named after the deserts of Rajasthan.
Essentially it's a Jeep but in view of intellectual property and manufacturing rights it is the Mahindra Thar. My grandfather had bought a Willy's Jeep in mid 1950s that we sold in the 1980s due to pollution regulations, my Parents bought a Marathon CJ340 which was considered the modern version of the Jeep. First Jeep sold the intellectual and manufacturing rights to Mahindra and when Mahindra wanted to sell the cheap Thar i(compared to Jeep vehicles) n the USA, Jeep filed a case of infringement of design etc... I don't get it... once they sell the rights, how can they claim infringement of their rights. :) Cheers...
it's a Jeep.... Bro or should I say Bhai Saheb.
    🙏🌷🙏

Be careful while you are in india. Dont reveal everything about you and your plans to any body on street or shops..
Carry your bag in front..so that no one robs you from behind...
Use google maps to locate good eateries and shops. Dont become too friendly with street side people... And always ask for rates and prices of things and vehicles before using them or buying them.😊

I like your Channel. But it's my humble requests, wherever you travel please get to know the place before you go...Some places are dangerous....some places like old Delhi isn't so great in terms of safety... especially when you are taking ladies along with you...i don't want anyone to get into any kind of trouble....

It is not a TEMPLE.. Jama is a Mosque which is for Muslims. You were in a Muslim area.

If anyone from outside of india watching it you can see the atrocities happening to muslims and sikh in india through this video. They are roaming freely and happy. So change your perception
