I’ve always felt a deep connection to your music. It has had such a profound impact on me and helped me through some very dark times in 2005/2006..and still to this day. There’s definitely hallmarks of The Doors in The Stranglers. The Stranglers were not a psych band but had psych elements - particularly in the keyboards. Dave Greenfield was very open about how he was influenced by Ray Manzarek’s playing.

It surprises me that with a band as good as the Doors that there aren’t bands trying to recreate the sound more completely like GVF with Led Zeppelin and numerous Beatles imitators.
