What is Punctuation?
Punctuation is the tool that allows us to organize our thoughts and make it easier to review and share our ideas.
There are 14 punctuation marks that are commonly used in English grammar. They are the period, question mark, exclamation point, comma, semicolon, colon, dash, hyphen, parentheses, brackets, braces, apostrophe, quotation marks, and ellipsis.
The importance of punctuation in English:
Punctuation is essential and is used to convey and clarify the meaning of written language. It is such simple marks as the full stop or the comma, and the more complex ones of semicolons and hyphens. Getting punctuation wrong can change the entire meaning of a sentence. So, if you want to make sure your written English is understood, read on.
Punctuation really matters in the English language. It implies the correct arrangement of small, sometimes hardly noticeable marks in the appropriate places in order to indicate the exact length and the meaning of the sentence. Proper punctuation is a necessity in written English. It gives the reader an understanding of the meaning of the text and the idea revealed by an author. Proper punctuation is also an important tool to make your written text logical and readable.
Marks of punctuation play a very important role in giving intended meaning to the language. Use of the wrong mark of punctuation or even wrong placement of mark of punctuation can change the meaning of the sentence completely and sometimes even convert the sentence to complete nonsense.
Importance of English grammar:
English grammar is one of the most important elements of your language study. Unfortunately, it can also be one of the most complex and difficult if you’re not familiar with the rules and don’t practice them.
Grammar refers to the rules and regulations that govern spoken and written language. Grammar is the code that makes language work. It is through proper grammar that we are able to communicate in a clear manner that people can understand.
Good grammar means writing or speaking in such a way that your choice of words is understandable and follows the basic rules of sentence construction, punctuation, and spelling. So learning English grammar is critically important before thinking of writing or speaking English.

Sir, is the comma necessary that is used in Qno 21 after sajid?
In some cases, like this,I don't see the comma used but in some case this is used, can you explain it?
I will be very much thankful of you.
Its not a mistake
I'm asking myself the same question.
❤
I don't like a comer behind 'and'. Your writing is old fashioned, kind of jerky when read. You say, or write; "I am going down to the shop." It would be better if you said, 'I'm going down to the shop.' That sentence flows... I am, is old fashioned. Should we have 2 speech marks =" or one = ' Language is evolving, writing must follow suite... spelling is totally out of whack: less letters = more info... 2b or not two be? That is the question. Wot or what! Duz or does... I know wot I prefer, I also know wot will evolve; simplicity, les is more. Sir, at the beginning of a sentence is very 'Sub-continent' and forger about the 'Dear,' that is last century... you might as well say, 'Darling.'
