Ich habe leider nur eine Woche DF 28 Erfahrung, grandios!
Ich kenne nichts besseres, ich kenne keinen Bootsbauer, der in der gleichen Liga von Perfektion spielt.
Der Spruch mit der Handbreit Wasser ist nicht nötig, darum: Fair winds!

Would you say a trimaran of this size has a more or less comfortable motion for sleep than a similar catamaran? Thanks.

Sure not! The seagoing capability of these boats is breathtaking. You feel steadily safe and the boat does not heel more even in stronger winds.

Df40 is class A - meaning she is approved to sail in up to 8 Beaufort or 5,5-7,5 m seastate.. As comparison most trimaran are only class B - and on those i would partly agree.. On the Df40 - I would disagree.. They did the math and has reputation for doing it..
