They have an information sticker right above your head on the hood. It will give you the oil type. Probably was cheaper than putting it on the oil cap like they should have done.
The clips require a special tool it’s pretty cheap little pry tool it’ll make it much easier, also the skid plates are not really skid plates they are designed to direct airflow around the vehicle so it can be energy and gas efficient, but it also helps a little to protect but actual skid plates on off road vehicles is metal not plastic
