Coming over from your Unique video... there is a connection between Red Rock (now submerged) and the one and only Henry Lott we were discussing, there. Happily you cover this in as much detail as the source used. Lott's wife, Sarah (White) Huntington, was in fact the daughter-in-law of Samuel Huntington - Governor of Ohio, having married his first son Francis. Word of caution, eyewitness testimonies of Lott's activity after Red Rock are, to various degrees, inaccurate.

I don't know alot about Lott, but I know one thing...I keep brushing against his story as I start researching state history around that period. Seems to be one shady character.

*Sally White, BTW. What about Henry Lott in Red Rock seems questionable?

@@jdschooley6808 As I understand it she used either Sally or Sarah...
Nothing, seems questionable about Henry 'in Red Rock'. What is certainly questionable is all of the contradictory 'eyewitness' accounts of him 'after Red Rock' (which I said). Not knowing which to believe you will most certainly be led far from truth, and not many can be believed!

@@tlrlml Exactly, as with the stories of poison in a whisky drum left to kill the Native braves, no record of a bunch of dead Dakota to back that up. Most likely rumors.

@@jdschooley6808 I'm going to have to do some videos on this - I had no idea the level of intrigue Henry Lott would bring. I'll have to make sure its tied to a ghost town or abandoned history though - but we'll see what we can come up with. Thanks for all the discussion on history! -
