Thrift shop with my Mother and I in Rickreall Oregon as we visit a vintage flea market in the county! I shop for vintage jewelry and home decor finds. Mom scored some designed clothing I found at an estate sale for her!

You & Pete were made for each other and when mom comes along it's so amazing to see all the fun and love you guys have for each other. I wanted peach jelly mom. lol Blessings Always
I just made peach/jalapeno jam, from store canned peaches and a some jalapenos I accidently bought, when I wanted banana peppers. I blended them in the blender and followed the low sugar pectin recipe. I made it to put over green onion/chive whipped cream cheese, to spread over crackers! I also made cranberry/jalapeno jam, using 100% cranberry juice and a can of whole berry cranberry sauce. I used the low sugar pectin. It was my first time making jam/jelly, and I was surprised how easy it is. (I also made blueberry jam and strawberry /lemon jam, using frozen berries). They were all for Christmas gifts.
Mom was so practical on this trip buying her special jams. But more importantly you all shared a family day out. ❤️
I love that you take Millie with you most places go. I can’t stand leaving my fur baby home alone. He sees me getting ready to go & won’t leave my side. 💗
I had to go to Dr. today, & our fur baby is the same way. 🤣

I lover you guys.... Your mom has the world's greatest smile. She's so hip!. My mom went home to glory 5yrs ago and I use to do things like you do with your mom. Selena your hubby is the greatest partner and loves everything you want to do, hrs game. However your mom is your BEST FRIEND in the whole universe.

When you see a great necklace like the one with the metal ‘cuff’ and dangly bits. Take the most outside hanging bit on either side and make a pair of earrings! I do it all the time

If you ever come down to central Florida there is a place called Renningers in a little town of Mount Dora (which is an adorable old florida lakeside town), and it has both a flea market and an enormous antique mall...that is so big it honestly feels like it would take a couple days to look at everything...any way it seems like just your cup of tea.

My Dora, Florida has a fabulous antique extravaganza with over 800 vendors. I think they have the extravaganza twice a year. You would love it!!

🫶🥳💝😃 Hey, if I may give your mom a tip for the cashmere/silk sweater: Only wash it as less often as possible every now and then by hand or in the hand washing programm (as cold as possible). Cashmere cleans itself and the natural oils will get washed out over time. Use only baby shampoo or better shampoo especially for cashmere. For most of the time only hang it out in the garden in the fresh air. Or steam it hot with your flatiron - but don't iron it. Only steam it. 🫶🥳💝😃✨ With love from a sales lady.

You two need to visit First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas and Round Top Antiques Fair in Texas. First Monday occurs monthly throughout the year, while Round Top occurs on specific dates.

You should visit the Springfield Antique and Flea Market Extravaganza in Springfield, Ohio.... held each May and September. It is an amazing flea market and antique show. Over 2200 vendors. So much to see. You could spend days there and still not see everything.
The Pecatanica flea market is always a good time.

If you accidentally shrink a wool sweater; soak it in vinegar and water for a day. Then place on a towel and hand block to size.❤❤😊
Does that work for a wool shirt too?

@@cynthiafisher9907 I hope it goes well! I accidentally shrunk my hand knitted cable sweater that took a month to knit. It looked like a big fuzzy pot holder! I couldn’t bare to toss it. Then I heard about the vinegar trick. Magically my beautiful chianti sweater sprung up to life.💕
