  • Healthy sleep is foundational to good health, and if you suffer from chronic disease, it's critical in overturning the condition.
So why do sleep disorders happen? And how can we find solutions to improve your health?
A functional dental assessment will assess the airway component of sleep, and the presence of conditions like sleep apnea. But sleep is far more complex.
This week my guest is Dr. Stasha Gominak, Neurologist and world-renowned expert on the connection between vitamin D and the brain. She was spoken and published widely on her approach to address the root cause of the broad presentations of sleep issues that her patients' experienced.
We will discuss how vitamin D plays a central role in not only sleep, but also gut health and the practical tips she has implemented to help patients sleep better.
I'm really looking forward to this conversation so make sure to mark it in your calendar!
What would you like to know on the Vitamin D and sleep connection?

The medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat diet and microbiome and sleep and vital nutritional deficiency issues (including those related to Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Magnesium deficiencies as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (which is iatrogenesis in general). If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, for properly researching the issues discussed in this and related TH-cam presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction.

Hey man, very articulate post (I'm a bit of a simpleton). Essentially, is your thesis that if the importance of vitamin D and K was popularized then things would be better? Even mental health???

If so, I would imagine that they benefit from this in a monetary sense. "A patient cured, is a customer lost". Blessings to you friend and Dr. Roth.

Interesting, thank you. Note: It is hard to hear Dr. Lin, I think the microphone is broken.

Dr. Gominak says "D makes us sleep longer when it's low." However, if I understand her correctly, she really meant to say "when it's high," if a deficiency leads to poor sleep, and if animals hibernate at after summer ends when their levels of D would be at their peak.

Thank you for sharing this, I watched the Babies documentary on netflix and they spoke about how babies don't grow steady but grow in bursts, so I wonder if adults heal in bursts in a similar way?

The unit of vitamin D blood level"60-80" is ng/ml, correct?
I got measured my blood level and the unit was in nmol/l. So apparently there are two different units. I thought it's important to notice to all viewers
