"Dimmi, ben mio, che m’ami" for mezzo-soprano and organ by Wayne I. L. Davies

"Dimmi, ben mio, che m’ami" is a short piece scored for mezzo-soprano and organ. The music was composed to celebrate the wedding of Dr Laura Hatton and Dr John Craven and was performed during their marriage ceremony in June 2001. The piece sets both the Italian text (a love poem written by an unknown poet) and its English translation. The first performance was given by Dr Sarah Main (nee Drayton) (mezzo-soprano) and Alastair Tighe (organist).
