    IRFP450 can produce a maximum of 190W, at 14Amps. So with two MOSFET You may produce around 400W but not 2000W inverter. Run an electric Kettle of 1800W and see if it stands for it.

      Irfp 450 can drive pulse 56A,mabe can produce around 672W (12v*56A),dissipation still lower 190w (switching mode) ,it need more test.....

    Abhi Jo chala ke dikha rahe hain wahi batana.
    Mere pas 8 MOSFET 10 amp 12-0-12 transformer tatha 20 ah ka battery hai.mujhe half HP ka motor chalana hai.kripaya help karen.

      @@MrRais66 For smaller ferrite core transformers you need much higher frequency. This is a simple 50Hz concept and this dont't work with smal ferrite cores.

      Simple- but no protection and no regulation and no way to made ajustments
      2000W - totally false, the MOSFETs, wiring and transformer could NOT handle it. That is just click-bait....
      Sine Wave Modyfied - no, it is a square wave which causes peaks and ringing on the output. It would also heat up the transfomer beyond expectation.
      What about the 2000W? That requires 170 Amps on the secondary side. You would need a huge bank of batteries. The wiring shown can only handle several amps. The MosFet can only handle 30 Amps or so. You would need a large heat-sink because of the extremely current and Rds[on]. The transfomer is far too small - looks like at most 10 Amps.
      So how can he say 2000 W ?????
      You are being fooled.
      Instead of educating you, this guy is making a fool of you.

    hi, mine does not exceed 150 v and less than 200watts..im using UPS battery 12volt, 7AH. + transistor start to get warm in less than 30 sec. anyway, it work...... thanks R.J

    Your irfp 450 seem to be npn. Yet I bought irfp 450 and they clearly are pnp. Please explain if you can

      BUT how true is that??
      Simple- but no protection and no regulation and no way to made ajustments
      2000W - totally false, the MOSFETs, wiring and transformer could NOT handle it. That is just click-bait....
      Sine Wave Modyfied - no, it is a square wave which causes peaks and ringing on the output. It would also heat up the transfomer beyond expectation.
      What about the 2000W? That requires 170 Amps on the secondary side. You would need a huge bank of batteries. The wiring shown can only handle several amps. The MosFet can only handle 30 Amps or so. You would need a large heat-sink because of the extremely current and Rds[on]. The transfomer is far too small - looks like at most 10 Amps.
      So how can he say 2000 W ?????
      You are being fooled.
      Instead of educating you, this guy is making a fool of you.

    1xIRFP450, Pmax. is 190W.
    2x190W does not result in 2000W.

    may i use 12volts, 12ah battery in this inverter ? 12volts-7.2ah battery use karne se zada samay nehi chal raha light.

    my friend one irfp450 max have 180w capacity .therefor two of it max conduct 300 watt.i switching mode it can have max about 30 ampe and about 400watt therefor output max have 800 watt energy.
