I agree the one in London although wasn’t as spread out as the Sydney one but they had so much liek the drone stuff and the speeches as well as the fireworks Ukrainian and lgbtq and some other stuff I forgot but Sydney’s sound track is better

@@coltenn8785 so how do you differentiate the start of this fireworks at the stroke of midnight to all the others around the world, something which is unmistakably Sydney? Well,you can't really whereas there's no danger of mistaking London’s with any other similar NYE fireworks happening elsewhere around the world. How? Well,the unmistakable 12 bongs of Big Ben at the stroke of midnight, with the accompanying fireworks going off 12 times after each bong!🤣
@@eyeofthetiger6002 If you were to ask me if I would rather watch fireworks around a big clock and what looks to be a Ferris wheel (correct me if I'm wrong because idk) or get a skyline view of Sydney Harbour bridge, the opera house and view of the city and outer suburbs as a backdrop, located on a long ocean harbour I think I know what I'd choose 100% of the time. Being able to differentiate London from everywhere else doesn't mean much at all. I'm not taking anything away from London by all means because it's one of my favourites to watch, I'm just saying Sydney is another level when it comes to the ART of fireworks display
@@coltenn8785 nah London's fireworks are by far the most creative in the world, with meaning and messages like the solidarity with Ukraine, the passing of the Queen, climate change all aided by the drone display, which is unique among the major NYE fireworks around the world instead of just the boring synchronized firing of pyrotechnics from barges yearly with the Sydney fireworks,no creativity there, just like any NYE fireworks display around the world; even the showpiece Sydney Harbour bridge display was a bit of a damp squib this year.
@@eyeofthetiger6002 It's fine because at the end of the day it's opinion based. But the fact is, looking back at even the last 10 years according to polls and votes for world's best NYE fireworks, London was placed in top 6 best in 7 or 8 (if I remember correctly) one of which made top 2 and outside top 10 the other couple years so they are undoubtedly top tier. Sydney however has been in top 5 all of the last 10+ years bar one, won 3 years in a row and are renowned for fireworks on New year's. The stats prove otherwise. Again though, not taking anything away from them but thats kinda like writing on the wall. The extended harbour where fireworks are going off on the boats from many km's away as opposed to what looks like a lagoon with a Ferris wheel. Opinion based, but I'll choose Sydney anyday of the week

If you're going to spend millions of tax payers money on fireworks then at least make them good. Music had so much potential but the fire works are just the same thing over and over again. Yawn, skipping through to find the good bits
As a tax payer, I'm happy to contribute to this wonderful display that many Aussies enjoy every year and generate more money for the state. Grateful for the people who worked tirelessly to make this happen.
@@mtra.der.veler24 also as a tax payer (too funny you had to include that statement) I would prefer to see roads fixed, more help to smaller communities, better education, real help during droughts, fires, etc... the list goes on and on. People can find something to do on new years I am sure. A 10 minute long fireworks show also polluting our country and atmosphere isn't helping anyone or anything in the long run. ☺️ Anyway have a lovely new years!
@@thisisnottheendofattum it's because you said taxpayers that's why i mentioned i'm a tax payer too. These kinds of events generate more money than it spends which pays for the roads healthcare etc. Happy New Year.
