We just added a permanent island to our new home and although the wiring existed for an outlet, we use the island for a kitchen table as we have downsized. Now I find out that a permanent island has to have an outlet. Just my luck lol.
finally, an older home video. it's like all of them seem to be newer homes all built basically the same. where i'm at there are a *lot* of older homes with stone foundations, plumbing and electrical systems that looks like they were cobbled together by generations of madmen, half the house is drywall and the other half is plaster, the floors creak, there are push-button light switches, weighted windows, there often is a lightswitch that just is there without any apparently purpose, chimneys that don't go anywhere inside the house, century old gas fireplace inserts, 83 layers of paint.... i could go on, but old houses are... unique. do you use drones now more often than the camera attachment? wow, i wish i could get furnace filters for a dollar or two! lol. the conduit running into what's literally just a hole in the side of the house is pretty shocking to see. no vent fan above the gas stove, either. do these people have a death wish? lol. i know that these old houses are going to fail on just about every level of inspection, but those limbs have to be the first things to go! then i think i'd attack the gutters, afterwards worry about the foundation. the place is a disaster. in other words, a typical old house, lol.
