  • Tanko Yunusa believes the Obidient Movement is bigger than the Labour Party despite the latter being supporters of the LP presidential candidate in the 2023 election Peter Obi.
    The chief spokesman of the Obi-Datti organisation said this on Friday’s edition of Channels Television’s The Morning Brief.
    “It’s bigger than the Labour Party. It is so because it is a move of its own that has a life of its own. What they are interested in is good governance,” Tanko said.
    “Even if the Labour Party is doing something that is wrong, they are able to challenge it. Let me go further. Even His Excellency [Peter Obi], if he does something that is not aligned with good governance, we would challenge it.”

    Abure is compromised and Peter Obi is aware of that. After his arrest , he was supposed to be charged with misappropriation of Labour party funds as exposed by some Obidients on Twitter, but the police announced that the only charge against him was a threat he made to some one. This was a red flag. Shortly after then, the appeal court dimissed the apapa faction and then Abure started doing things against the wish of the Labour union, Obidients, Nigerians and Peter Obi.
    A national convention is what can make the party gain traction in rural areas etc. The deal Abure made was for him to remain as the Chairman or face prosecution.

  • @obedgreg2749
    @obedgreg2749 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    Please, there's no ambiguity here; obidient movement is just about those who believe in the principles and ideology of honest, transparent, and credible leadership in Nigeria. It has nothing to do with a political party incuding the labour party. Peter Obi and some members of obidient movement are members of labour party, many obidients are not in labour party, many are in other political parties, many are not even in any political party and are not even interested in joining any political party. So a Party setting up a directorate for people that are not a member of the party is just senseless.

      98 percent of obedient movement have no party affiliation. It's just about Nigeria that works. And the number is increasing. I pity Arabambi. I understand what he is doing. Obi is the biggest threat in 2027. Merging with Atiku is a big fear. So the are doing a hatchet job. Crumble obi base or suspend Him, so that they weaken his strength. But they don't really understand that labor party has no name or number existence. Obedients can goes where good governance goes
