From the very beginning Peter Obi has said that the Obidient was not a political party which was a movement which in fact targeted the disgruntled youths. He capitalized on the Endsar youths who complete were dissatisfied with both the PDP and APC. I can assure you if you interview some of the Obidient movement members now the momentum is unlikely to be the same and will be much more different should Peter Obi decides to have anything to do with PDP or any other party that is likely to be part of the anticipated merger. Furthermore there is no guarantee that all the parties that will be involved in the merger will position Peter Obi as the presidential candidates because not will buy into the philosophy of the Obidient movement. They may even suggest scrapping the movement completely if a consensus is to be reached as to who the presidential candidate will be. For example PDP the oldest party in the country with a lot of seasoned political will not associate themselves with the Obidient movement. Right now if you talk to members of the Labor Party that defected from APC and PDP some of which were elected into positions during the 20223 election you will not hear them talk about the Obidient movement but party on which platform they got elected. The Obidient members must be understand that the it will a different play field in 2027 as the political environment will be quiet different. Any party that wants to win in 2027 must carry both old and young Nigerians together. The guest is failing to acknowledge that Peter Obi has been around as long as the old politicians that he is now criticizing. There is nothing special about the ideology of the Obidient movement because every political party in Nigeria makes the same promise over and over again. This international validated that political parties in Nigeria do not have any ideology and even Pat Utomi who is a strong supporter of Peter Obi has confirmed that in the national television, so what is the guest talking about? The best bet for Peter Obi is to form his own Obidient party, form an alliance and win the election and that is when Nigerians will accept that he is different from all other political parties in the country. Talk is cheap but Nigerians are waiting how he is going to make a difference in Nigerian politics and governing.

What the obedients don't understand is that nobody can win the presidency in Nigeria without the two major parties.
As long as perter obi stays in that mushroom party , he can't win anything.
