Please you guys study this video. I watched this video before taking my exam and I got a 94% on my math section. Everything that is she is going over especially with fractions and ratios will be on the exam, and also study your metric conversation and you will pass ❤️. Thank you Angel
@@_rositaa well the fractions and ratios are not going to be the same but as long as you know how to change your decimals to fractions, decimal to percentage, and also know how to add, multiply, divide, and subtract factions you will pass. Please know your conversions because you will need to know how to convert from kilogram to milligram

I watched this video three times this morning before my Hesi and made an 88% on my math. I even got some of the same questions you mentioned! Thank you for this video, everything was so succinct and definitely saved me, as math has typically been one of my weakest subjects.

I just took the HESI yesterday. My lowest was a 90 in the math section because I didn’t realize the calculator was on the computer and you had to click a button to open it for each question. Didn’t know that until 3/4 of the way through with the math section. Oh well. Got 92 on grammar and 96 on reading, A&P, and vocab. Lots of fraction problems on the math.
@@jaymorgan. Not that I remember. The bulk of the math section for me was a fraction problems. I watched Keshwani Prep HESI and TEAS math and vocab videos on TH-cam as a refresher. I recommend him. I also used the HESI A2 Practice Test 2022 and HESI A2 Pocket Prep apps. I used the free portions of the apps and some of the questions on the test were almost verbatim from those apps.

Contrary to other comments, barely any of these questions were on the exam I took on October 2nd. Although it is beneficial for practice, do NOT just go off of this video. because since you are borrowing 1, you convert the 1 to a fraction in order to add both fractions. since the denominators have to match, 15/15 is the same as 1

On the word problems; question A: how did you get 40%? I have been racking my brain on where the 40 came from bc it was 60 oz a day the patient was drinking and the dr asked to be cut back 60%. so wouldn't we would have put 60 in the % spot?
Hi Delia, so the problem is asking you to convert 5lbs and 8oz to kg. So we start of with converting the 8oz to lbs. In 1 lb, there is 16 oz, with dimensional analysis - 8oz *1lb/16oz = 0.5 lb. So now we know 8oz = 0.5lbs. We add the 5lbs (from the 5lbs and 8oz), gives us 5.5lbs now we convert to kg 1kg=2.2lbs = 2.5 kg.

For the long problem on the adding and subtracting fractions slide (7:02) does the test care if we leave it in an improper or mixed fraction?

For my exam, they let us use calculators for each questions. I suggest asking your school if they let you use it or not.
