If I create a logo using canva and use illustrations and elements of canva to create it, will I have copyright issues in future, or can i patent logos made with canva?
@@leaveittolay Yes! I actually found the answer after what I learned using it. If I use basic shapes and lines to create a unique design, or I add something to free element to make it look like new or unique, there will be no problem unless I use the paid ones and claim them mine or make no changes to free illustrations, or please correct me if I'm wrong....
@@rebecaruiz8462 If you want people to know where your designs are coming from, you can use canva logo. If your shape has canva logo in the form of watermark, that means you have to buy that element or shape to use or if the shape has no watermark but still a canva logo, you can use it. needless to say, you can't claim Canva logo yours by any means.

Hey there! You can use any of their pre-made logo designs and use those commercially, but can't use certain elements to create your own logo! I hope that helps clarify! 🙂
Hey can you tell me how to fix this problem in canva. it is cutting off half of my images. when I upload the circle frame its only showing like a piece of it, its cutting the circle off. do you know of a fix to this?
Hey there! you may have to adjust the photo below it to make it small enough to fit into the circle, or, alternatively, adjust the size of the circle to make it larger to not crop the photo 🙂
Hi there! It really depends on where you are using your logo. For a website, 250 px (width) x 100 px (height) would be an optimal dimension (px for logos instead of resolution). I hope this helps!
Hey Shaza! It may depend on the type of design it is! You may not be able to adjust certain aspects of it, unfortunately. However, if it was created in Canva originally, then yes 🙂
If you need a designer to create your logo in order for it to be trademarked, then how do they get the fonts? Do they use free fonts or create fonts? How does that work?

Hey Lianne! Unfortunately, while there are elements you can use, you're unable to copyright or trademark a logo with these elements! I hope that helps clarify!
In Canva you can download any file that you create 🙂 Just go to download (in the top right corner) and select the type of file you would like to download it as. We suggest downloading logos as PNG files (with transparent backgrounds). I hope this helps! 🙂 xx - Taylor, Team Louise Henry
I am super confused. Canva says that you can't have anything that looks like a logo or a brand, yet it is designed to do just that. ?? I'm excited to use it but don't want to do the wrong thing/ get kicked off the site.

Hey there! I believe it is a combination! Some designers create their own fonts, but some designers also pay for the license for fonts! 🙂

No it can't be trademarked is way down in the fine print and logo can be used 250 thousands times
