Once again Matthew great kits thank you for sharing
Model car is worth the search.
Nice stash adds. The ‘78 Corvette is a really nice kit. Somewhat simplified, but well detailed. Thanks for sharing.
Early to mid eighties on the Model A roadster kit. I bought this model kit (same box art) sometime before I got married in 1985. I completed it a few years later.
The stripe box is 1 of 6 different kits given out by Ford as gifts or "token of appreciation" , to (I assume, previous purchasers of Ford products) between 1963 and 1965, to check out the new Ford products. Some come with notes with the reason and sales pitch. There were also regular pre assembled promos given out the same way with similar notes.
My dad was a Ford mechanic, and he got me a 1932 Ford Victoria kit. The box resembled the box for the 25 kit you have. It was a promotional kit.
Cool!!
Thanks for sharing Matthew. You found some nice kits that were good buys. Glad to hear you and your family had a good vacation, except for the rain and crowds. 👍👍
Great finds love the Mercer kit and the Ford model t
Matthew, because I knew you are a Model A fan, I thought I'd give you a heads-up about a new kit. It's a Phaeton, made by ICM (their #24050).
Without a sliver of doubt, this is the most detailed, most accurate Model A kit I've ever seen.
hpiguys Workshop channel just did a box opening and build of it, and no foolin', my mouth was open in astonishment the whole time!
👍🏻👍🏻
no way Dou your sick those are some awesome kits 😁🤩you obviously have been doing your research 😋thank you for sharing🤗scooter😎
Nice find in the antique stores Matt. Glad you had fun with your family up in North Carolina. Enjoy your weekend.
Awesome classic kits Matt, cool stuff!
Sweet stash adds, Matthew😎👍
Great find.
Those decals in the 2nd 25 T kit are from the '27 T Tub / XR-6 kit. Very cool!
Nice 😁
Great adds Matt
cool stash adds matt.
Model Restorations Plus! put up a video the same day as this one about the history of the model makers and in it he mentions the promo kits. I never knew what AMT stood for!
There are 2 of those Laurel and Hardy kits. I will look for mine and let you know. I bought mine at the show I met you at. I love going to the antique stores. Thanks Matthew
Great stash adds
Cool update awesome old kits 👍🏿 keep up the good work
Asheville? you were 25 miles from me... Working in our Asheville office today, Biltmore village area, nice Antique mall across the river from me !
Those mudgrip tires would come in handy down here in Florida! 😅
They were in every AMT car kit in the 80s, I have their old Dodge Challenger kit with those odd tires, it makes it look like it's going off-road for some reason.
Interesting I have the laurel and harde model t kit with the figures
They used the 6.6 liter for the Pontiac 400 and the Olds 403. 61 cubic inches per liter...
Scalemates says 1989 on the Ertl '29 Model A kit, Matthew. Laurel & Hardy ----- 1976/1977.
6.6L is a 400.
Again you've scored some more of your favorite subjects at good prices. Presumably that Revell Monogram 1978 Corvette is the standard version of the Pace Car model or the 25th anniversary Corvette, but what I find most fascinating about that particular kit is the unopened tube of Testors glue. I'm sure that is solidified, but wouldn't it be something if you could actually use it? I remember you said you wanted to display some old kit instructions etc. when you upgrade and expand your model room, and I think that unopened tube of Testors Model Cement would fit right into that.
If that glue is sealed it should still be in good shape. I have tubes from the 60s, and they still work!
Mercer is a good pickup.
A litre is about 60 cubic inches
👍🏻👍🏻
There's nothing worser than a Mercer. And if you like a Stutz you're nutz. 😅 Insults traded back in the day.
What was the name of the place in seivervill going to gatlinburg in October
What was the name of the antique mall in Sevierville?
Better check your math before your anniversary gets here. You said you were married in 97 and you're going to be celebrating your "26th" anniversary? 🤔 Laurel and Hardy are CLASSICS! you really need to watch some of their stuff. 😉 You got some good scores! Peace and love.
Dislike the two bad songs at the beginning yelling at me.
