    Thanks. That's a lot to think about and prepare. I have never sold yet, but was thinking of doing something in the future. Good info!

    This was fantastic! One thing that really resonated with me was when you said that if you are friendly, people are more likely to stay, to ask questions and to BUY. This is so true for any business and any customer-facing experience really. Whenever I do not get friendly service, and I can sense it in a matter of seconds, I am completely turned off even if I had the intention of buying!! I end up leaving shortly because I do not want to patronize someone with bad customer service. Thanks for such a great video!

    New Subber to Fire Mountain beads. I often see people demonstrate their work, but seldom speak about how one can sell, how to price, etc. Thank so much for these types of videos. Lots of good info and suggestions!

    I think you covered just about everything! Extra points for mentioning wind in outdoor settings. We have had to design special displays just so the display itself doesn't blow away as well as individual pieces. Those cardboard type stands would not hold up outdoors. Thanks for providing this.

    I just found this TH-cam channel, I don’t know why I just didn’t look. Anyway, great tips, I pretty much do all the same things. Love doing my craft/art shows.

    In many if not most shows u have to have a weight system and be staked in for safety not just for u but others otherwise you can be thrown out. I've gotten someone banned/kicked out from a show for not having it when her umbrella fell from the wind on my table. She was forced to pay me for damage. Also, u better have insurance and tax id.. don't do a show u can't afford to lose money if u don't make your booth back. I only do shows where there's a good possibility ill profit. and don't walk away from your booth without being sure your cash box is watched or secured somehow. Don't be naive and think other vendors won't take your cash box especially if your pulling in sales and they arent I've seen it happen. I'm being real

    Hi, thanks for all the advice. This is something I want to take part in as I get more comfortable selling my creations. What is your take on hiring help? How long before the event should you have this figured out?

    • @FireMountainGems
      @FireMountainGems  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Help is always a great thing to have. Whether it's hired or friends or family hanging out during the event with you to help if needed. That is something you'll need to decide.

      Some say tally up ur cost of products that u use and multiply by 2 or 3 plus what hourly price u would pay yourself.
      Or look at other artist and see what they are pricing..either match it or go a lil higher or a lil lower ( as to not cheat urself) people will still buy from you. Happy crafting🌸💌☺

    I live in NYC, do you have a suggestion on a good credit card reader!?

    • @FireMountainGems
      @FireMountainGems  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We don't have any specific recommendations, but you will want to research a few things such as:
      - Does it need a tablet/smartphone or is it a stand alone unit?
      - Is it portable if needed?
      - How is the transaction fee % compared to other companies

    What about if you have all your Jewlery in white boxes and they are laid on a tri-level step bar?

    • @FireMountainGems
      @FireMountainGems  ปีที่แล้ว

      It can really depend on how the space is set up, the visibility of the display and what kind of jewelry is being displayed. It's always good to try different things to see what works and it may work better in some locations/venues than others. Good luck with all of your jewelry selling adventures! 😊
