When I get on buses the guys in their early 20’s always playing music really loud, kids crying, crackheads telling stories to random people, old people sleeping, and then there’s me, just trying to get home

To many people don’t allow enough of a time buffer by getting to the bus stop at least five minutes early. Buses are not trains. They have to deal with traffic. The eight o’clock bus might come at 7:56 and he isn’t going to stop at an empty stop. Five to fifteen minutes early is the rule I was taught. The farther down the route , the earlier you need to be.
Have your fare ready and be courteous. Stand back from the curb so that the bus can safely pull in and after exiting, wait until the bus leaves before crossing the street. That includes the cross street. Safe travels!

I find it humorous how they had to add for teens, bc you know how adults can't ride the bus like this

Remember when loading a bike onto the bus, do not leave any of your belongings on the bike when having it on the bike rack.

I have a car and am in college the bus allows me to save hecka money on gas. the bus is great especially to easy places like school or work which are short and easy trips. Its also a good way to save up for a car - you can save more money without getting a beater. In florida you need at least 3,000 to by a decent car that will last at least 5 years.
