People make fun of Gex for how aggressively '90s it is - the pop culture references, the snarky one-liners, the fact that it's another "mascot with attitude" like Sonic or Bubsy. But as a series of games, they're still perfectly fun to play. You just gotta know what aesthetic you're in for 😁

If I were to remake this game I would add a gallery where you can view the many enemies and bosses you encountered and to unlock them you would have to collect tokens similar to catch cards in Super Paper Mario
Only came here to look at a specific stage in this game that I recall so vaguely that it almost feels like a dream. It’s some sort of factory-esque stage with a boss at the end in a tower or something. Lots of green - perhaps gas - in it ... Memory or just imagination? This video will tell. Update: Sadly, looking at the video I am unable to tell which stage in the game that this memory is based on. :(
