Man, i can't begin to tell you how valuable these videos are to me. i learned a few forms of xing yi a little over a year ago for a few months but because i moved i no longer had access to my teacher. i've been having the spiritual blues as result of this because xing yi was becoming something i was falling in love with just like qigong and daoyin. i also dont make much money so i thought i was never gonna be able to practice xing yi again let alone find a great teacher. but wow just watching these opening videos i have learned so much! almost like i am there in class! thank you for these very informative xingyi basics videos. i can practice at least the basics at home and train the key points until i find a new in person teacher, but these videos are already so helpful. i cant thank you enough.

Thank you for your generosity in sharing this wonderful art with us. Xingyiquan is my favorite martial art style even though I don’t really have any local teachers qualified to teach the high level of understanding you show here in your video. Most of my knowledge is in northern and southern shaolin styles and in Yang and Chen style Taijiquan. I wish I could attend your school in person. This video was excellent and very detailed in explanation and easy to follow and understand. I will practice your method of San Ti Shi taught here in this video on a daily basis. I will look for your other Xingyiquan videos to learn and practice from as well and have subscribed here to your channel. Thank you again, and much success and prosperity to you and your school.

Hey Pu Dao King, thank you for your kind feedback! You are welcome to join us anytime in our school. Students from more far away have the possibility to live and practice with us in the academy in Berlin. I hope your San Ti Training goes well, anyway! If you want you can send me with the time some of your training via video so I can correct it if you want! Apart from this, I plan to upload sooner or later the next Xing Yi videos, continuing with Pi Quan, the first basic fist.

Hi, Thanks for the explanations. 30 min San Ti Shi on each side or even 20 minutes... that sounds pretty hardcore ! Please, what distance do you keep between the feet?

Interesting style of Xingyi. I haven't seen it before. The basics are all there. No matter what style of Xingyi it is it's basically all the same.

@@91dgross There are 3 main branches and innumerable subbranches. Ever heard of Honan? Most of the styles fall into either Sanxi or Hebei, Honan being the most obscure. With the exception of Honan usually you have the 5 elements techniques and then the 12 animals but some styles have only ten animals and one in particular practiced 5 elements and 5 animals.

Hey Stanley! I have at the moment an live online Xing Yi course running. It is already in the 5th session so if you want to join that, you would need to catch up a bit by yourself. Nevertheless, all the previous lessons you could rewatch and study on my online learning page. If you want to have more information, write me please on my email: train at xuan-gongfu.de
