Roughly 300 of my coworkers, and their families have moved to Nicaragua, and more of us will be leaving as soon as we can dump our assets and arrange our finances. We'd rather live in a country where we're welcome and appreciated, than here where we are vilified and misstreated

I work for an outfit that's been hauling for 100 (& a half) years, all thru Canada & the U.S., now, since the convoy, we've been targeted and harassed, so owner sold out, Montreal company bought us and is flooding us with untrained, unskilled & unqualified drivers that can't speak either official language. The writing is on the wall, and we're leaving while we can. The Amish back home left this spring, they'd moved here to escape Soviet Russia, and they see Canada going that way now

Valuable information Andrew, thanks. The Netherlands and Canada have similar kind of demographic structure and political system. Also many of the problems are the same and root cause can be traced in politicians whom are so out of touch with the problems and challenges of common people. Too man politicians busy following their career paths rather than their hearts so they will never try and step on holy houses or outside the system / party line.

In country 'B' you only have to work 1 job, have time on the weekends for hobbies, and can save enough to buy a house in 10 years. C=Canada.

From what I've been told Nicarauaga is a very Canadian Friendly country. (More Canadians then Americans) Lots of Canadians have decided to move and make it there home. Very Cheap rent and cost of living. You can get a 3 Bedroom home for less $100,000CAD. Not to mention the weather. Priavte schools are accessible and outrageous. Need to do more research but if your looking for a move check it out for sure. Also All the Hype about Nica being dangerous is a complete fabrication. Media lies.

As someone born and raised in Canada my wife and I decided to retire in her home country, the Philippines (for those that like to make assumptions no she's not a 16 year old but rather retirement age too) and it was absolutely the best move possible for us. We're paying off our small new resort style condo and after that's accomplished life should be very economical, plus the people there are some of the nicest in the world.
Most people don't live in Canada, but rather work pay to pay just to survive. That's no kind of life in my opinion.
