That’s what I love about old school riders they go fast and hard new school riders are slow and smooth while also very cool and technical it’s just awesome to see so much action like Ryan can put out.

When almost every other pro was ditching his front brake in the mid/late 90s, Ryan was putting one on JUST so he could do spinning/flipping suicide no-handers without his bars turning in the air. I love that. Amazing rider.
Friend of mine did the same. He landed flip 4 1/2 barspin at a show I rode with him at. Backflip Billy. 360 tailwhips to superman seat grabs... yeah one of those underrated unknown riders. Front brakes for faster barspins and being able to do suicides like you said.

3 days ago! Amazing! I've been watching Ryan and Dave since 1997 and bmx hit it's peak in the 2000s but lately it seems to be fading out sadly. Wich is why it's so awesome to see Ryan marching forward with the BMX flag flying proudly. Best dirt rider ever in my opinion and a wizard in the park! Much love and respect to ryan. Wow it's a old school day I actually watched a clip or miracle boy and Nyquist earlier. Now I see he's still doing it! Age is a number! He just has alot of experience. And I just want to say we still miss you and love you Dave and thanks for everything you guys did for the sport. I'm applying for Woodward hopefully when they open see Yas there! Keep on keeping on
When I was younger and still riding, u were my biggest inspiration.!! I kept my seat up like yours for the good multiple barspins, the rocket airs, one footed table tops.!! I was always trying new things due to you. Then I screwed up my knee in the army and just a bunny hop hurt like hell.

I looked up to this guy like crazy when I rode as a kid because he was doing all the big shit and we all went crazy over it. Now that I’m a dad in my early 40s trying to get my kids to get out there to do their own crazy stuff, I’m glad he still wears all the safety gear so I can show them they’re not too cool to wear it too like I thought I was when I was their age.
