    Look bsfl are cool and all but it is not a good thing they hyper accumulate heavy metals (you don't want to feed heavy metals to your chickens). As far as organic pollutants, you don't want them and any accumulated is bad.

      in small amounts its actualy good for them but in high amounts its not good. so you need to pay attention to the waste that you feed to your larvae so that its safe for chickens to consume.

      @@riknitzburg9650 technically if you feed your chickens organic stuff then there shouldn't be an issue. bottom line is that you should be mindful on what you feed your larvae so that its safe for chickens and human.

      @@riknitzburg9650 usually if you feed your chickens organic stuff, a very little heavy metals are present in there which should be fine and actually good for optimum growth of the larvae.
