If you already had the cable with the antenna, and the connector with the same, you may only change the antenna, and connect your old cable with the new antenna will be ok
I've liked it a lot so far. I will do 65MPH+ down the highway and it holds up great. I've slammed it off trees at speed and it brushes it off. I've gotten it snowed on, salt splashed on, mud all over it, cold weather, hot weather, it doesn't care.
Can you use the antenna without the provided cable? I don't want to rerun cable as I'm only changing the antenna.

As long as the ends are the same there shouldn't be an issue. It is a standard COAX cable.
How do you find the quality of the antenna system.
I am looking for something like this for my Polaris RZR XP-1000.
